Ralph Leon's Online Review Report Card

I went in with my mom since the appointment was for her. We went with Dr. Leon since he speaks Spanish. He enters the room and he introduces himself and continues on to say " I don't know who schedule you with me but I'm not taking any new patients over the age of 65, because I'm also old and have a lot of patients." OK? and? I have no idea why this is how you wanted to leave your first impression but it came off as rude and dismissive. My mom didn't even get the chance to introduce herself, to be more familiar with him. He basically rushed the visit, he heard what my moms concern was, but it felt like if we were in trouble by the way he spoke to us, like if it was our fault for seeing him and we should of known better because his preference in patients is younger then 65. Once he left the room, we left to the front and didn't want to wait for him to explain anything else. we just wanted to get out and I complained to the receptionists on how he was rude. where they apologized for that. There was a more professional way about going about this situation and the way he did it, was not professional at all. It was more of a (I'm just here picking up a pay check, until I retire type of attitude). I would not recommend him.

Dr. Leon has been my primary physician for over fifteen years. I've always found him to be caring, competent and fully engaged in my health.

Dr. Leon saved my life... annual physical.. Dr. Leon notices that my lymph nodes on my neck are not right. I have zero symptoms. He immediately schedules scan ... end result - I have throat cancer. When i tell the specialist - how it was diagnosed - I hear the same results.. wow - we don't hear very often it being identified in an annual physical. Dr. Leon stayed very engaged during my treatment at Johns Hopkins and Inova. No matter who is your doctor - get your annual physical!

I love all the doctors here but the only worse thing is the service the receptionist provides they are so rude they are not friendly at all it look like they don’t like doing that job

If you have Medicaid, or insurance coverages similar to it, stay away from Dr. Leon’s practice. During the pandemic of COVID-19 he neglected to wear a mask during face to face appointment. He does not provide full information regarding patients’ health and seems to only provide as much as Medicaid “covers” for his time. You receive more focused attention and information in a visit at the emergency room than you do in an appointment with him.

Dr Leon has been my primary care physician for a number of years. Like all doctors he is extremely busy, but he always take the time to thoroughly address my concerns in a professional and thorough manner. You can tell he enjoys providing care for his patients and improving their quality of life.

Dr. Ralph Leon is knowledgeable, excellent professional, efficient and very friendly. He's caught a few issues that had been misdiagnosed by previous Physician. Have had great experiences with his staff too. Thanks.-Eduardo Gonzalez

Came here for my moms appointment. Was seen by Dr.Martin. MA Eduardo was very helpful translating my mom's symptoms. Dr. Martin was nice, but seem to be frustrated and in a hurry. I felt like he didn't fully understand what was going on while I was translating for my mom. That he asked MA Eduardo to come talk to my mom and see what Eduardo thinks is the problem.

Not a fit for me. Didn't even stay for whole visit. Wasn't even able to have a dialogue with doctor. I didn't see doctor Leon which is perhaps the problem. But would not recommend this practice
