List of Charles B Gillock's Reviews
I was referred to Dr. Gillock by the Augusta Health ER, which I visited as a result of urinary stoppage. When several treatments methodologies provided less than complete relief from the symptoms, I had prostate removal surgery at Johns-Hopkins--Dr. Gillock handling local treatment and post-op. He was knowledgeable and responsive (when responsiveness matters!) He is kind and empathic. I would recommend him unreservedly.
Couldn’t find a better Urologist. He is sincere and is concerned about his patients and their families. He has been my husbands doctor for about 7 years. So glad he is his doctor. We highly recommend him. Mrs. Freddie Miller.
Dr Gillock is an excellent & caring doctor, always courteous, prompt, caring, sensitive, informed & informative, and exceedingly professional. Both my office visits and my surgery with him were unparalleled in excellence and kindness. I recommend him in a New York second to anyone needing urological care.
MOST DEFINITELY
I would highly recommend Dr. Gillock. He actually saved my life due to a kidney infection. He is not one who thinks "pills, medication" are the only cure but reviews every other possible alternative for a recovery.
He was friendly and thorough and his followup was really good. I would recommend him!
We had a horrible experience with this doctor. He was arrogant and rude and he repetitively gives wrong diagnosis and prescribes antibiotics for everything. Their billing department messed up our bill big time and are trying to charge us over $1,000. I called my insurance company and they said they have had to deny the claim because they didn't file the claims right and kept leaving out information. STAY AWAY!
While seemingly knowledgeable, Dr. Gillock was condescending and impatient with patient questions and concerns. He made it clear that he was bothered by phone calls from the patient's care provider. Who should you call if not your doctor?

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
