Bon Secours Suffolk Primary Care's Online Review Report Card

I’ve never been to a worse medical facility. The front desk staff are rude and did not fill out my information correctly. The doctor was dismissive of all my concerns and despite a full discussion on my physical health and diet,and not helping me at all or answering any questions gave me a poorly made, half faded copy of a diet program recommending “very low calorie”. So despite the doctor not asking about my history of eating disorders and abrasive bedside manners, and the incompetent front staff, I will be happy to never step foot in this dumpster-fire of a facility again.

The reception the receptionist at this location at Suffolk primary Care was the most rude person I have ever talked to would not let me talk Plus it was a need for prescription that you can't just stop taking My wife had a heart catheterization yesterday and I even called the their doctor's office and they called in and even there nurse said that she was very rude at the front desk won't ever go back here again I've already changed my doctor's office to the Suffolk prime I mean the Franklin primary Care

One of the greatest Primary Care facilities, the provider(s) and staff are very pleasant and very helpful.

Receptionist aren’t the most friendly. If you go by that first impression they let off, then you may want to leave…but give it a try. I have experienced wonderful and friendly nurses, Dr Kolli is smart, attentive, thorough, and very nice. However, if you need a prescription refill, good luck. I became an established patient and was currently on medicine. She agreed with the treatment and kept me on them. However when it came time for a refill, she denied it…very unhappy as I now need to find another dr.

Dr is great, staff a Disaster. They received my results over two weeks ago, but nobody can find them. They don't pick up the phone and when they do, they are useless. I called, left messages and emailed everyday for four days, still no answer on my results. In order to see the doc, I had to schedule an app. 30 days in advance. Over day 45 now and still no answer on my test results. It's the second time in Suffolk a good Dr. is surrounded by rude unprofessional people who cannot even say I'm sorry. The best I got was "I don't know what to tell you". Last good Dr we had in Suffolk left for Richmond. These staffers and rude nurses are a good cause of us not being able to get good care. Is there anything that can be done?

Love my doc office. Safe. And friendly.

Dr. M is great, staff and bon secours are not. They require you to call a phone number prior to entry and wait in your car until they are ready- which is completely reasonable. EXCEPT no one answers the phone! This is my second experience here just like this. Can someone recommend a good doctor with decent support staff?

I transferred over here from Bon Secours Ghent because it was closer. The quality of care is subpar. I’ve had to wait over about 45-60 min more than once and ended up leaving. The wrong tests were ordered after a long discussion with the MD and nurse about my concerns, so I was never fully treated and now I’m left with an 800 dollar bill and return of my symptoms a month later. Then after completing a follow up appt already for a med refill, they call to tell me I need to do another follow up after only a couple of months because they changed my providers. Mind you I’ve been on this medication for a few years now and my health insurance most likely won’t cover the visit because it’s too soon. The lack of communication and coordination of care is unprofessional to say the least. I’ve never had issues like this before.

Nurse had no bedside manner.
