David Lasseter's Online Review Report Card

I have been a patient of Dr. Lasseter for quite a while. He is doing an excellent job of helping me keep my diabetes under control. He takes time to listen and offers suggestions which is a tremendous help.

I came to Dr. Lassetter needing and endocrinologist. At the time my diabetes was very bad due to prednisone. I had other issues as well. He was able to get me on a plan which improved my Diabetes and Cushings disease. (Which I never knew I had.) He also knew about a very rare autoimmune disease I had been diagnosed with, which very few physicians have heard of or understand. He has a vast knowledge of medicine and has helped me immensely. Dr. Lassetter is an excellent listener, and easy to discuss any problems you may have. He is very thorough in his exam and covers your past and present records to see improvements or help you to meet your goals. I highly recommend Dr. Lassetter as an Endocrinologist.

Wonderful. He diagnosed my kidney cancer which saved my life.

Dr. Lasseter saved my life. He pursued testing procedures leading to another specialist. That specialist treated my problem. I'm thankful for doctors like Dr. Lasseter. .

The problem with this office is the support staff.When I have to speak to them for my husband, I am placed on hold for ore than ten minutes each time, nobody comes back on the phone I was told the medicine change for my husband would be done within 24 hours and it has been more than 48 minutes. I called and was placed on hold for ten minutes just to have the receptionist come back and tell me the nurse was too busy to check and by the way,what’s the name of the medication

went to him to get a diagnosis of my problems... he didn't have answers, relies on old blood tests each time I see him and tells me I am fine, instead of ordering different or new tests to see what is behind my problem! I don't feel fine, I have a history of goiter, hyperthyroid, and PCOS... but he says... I am "fine".

Easy going and easily explains conditions that effect my life in terms I can easily understand.

I havecongenital hypothyroidism. I was a patient of Dr. Lassater. He Switched me from 125mg to 112mg and claimed that my TSH levels were "normal." However, I started to have Symptoms such as constipation, weight gain, exhaustion, depression, and more. The biggest concern was the constipation and since my TSH levels were "normal" even though at one point the blood work showed a 5.11 for my TSH. I was sent to a GI specilist. The GI specialist ran numerous tests and put me on different medications and nothing helped the constipation. A year of suffering unwanted symptoms, I ASKED Dr. Lassater to please switch my medication back to 125 mg. Within a week, symptoms started to disappear. However, something still doesn't feel right so I ASKED for my cortisol levels to be checked. My blood work came back and I was informed that everything was fine and normal but once I received documentation of the blood results, my cortisol levels appear to be at a 33.7.

Was good about returning test results and phone calls on time. Office staff was caring. However, did not feel like all of my concerns were addressed and I did not get several of my questions answered. I plan to look for another specialist at this time.
