She sat behind her desk and barely looked at it and noted in her notes that there was no swelling nor tenderness, when there was both. I later found out my pain was coming from a torn Achilles tendon after I ended up in ER

Dr. Jane Derrig treats me for Rheumatoid Arthritis. She has been my doctor for many years. When I first went to her I couldn’t turn a doorknob to open a door, I couldn’t put on my hose or socks my symptoms were so bad. Today, I walk without pain from RA, work in my garden and do my housework. Dr. Derrig is a very caring, compassionate doctor. She listens attentively and is easy to talk with and always answers my questions in terms that I understand. I recommend Dr. Derrig without reservation to anyone needing a Rheumatologist. Bonnie M. I went to Dr Derrig 13 yr ago very sick and was told by her I had MS. Well I ended up in hospital with a sed rate of 100, it was RA. Could barely walk and was in wheelchair in her office and was greeted to so why are we in a wheelchair today? All I can say is NEVER go to her. Maybe I need to educate her to have her patients come off prednisone before doing blood tests.

She is a wonderful provider.Her staff is very professional and very nice. Dr.Derrig takes the time to listen to me and I always feel so much better after leaving her office. She always smiles and makes me feel comfortable.I actually enjoy going to my office visits because of these ladies!
