Dr Gupta will be losing a lot of patient know one wants to share there doctor office with another doctor like her old private office that was just with her the staff nasty at desk and unprofessional

Loved the doctor but the front desk nurses are a bit rude

I just had my daughter in 2021 and i have only been able to bring my daughter in twice. our first visit i explained to them that i have not received a birth certificate for my daughter so i was unable to add her to my insurance without it. They still allowed my daughter to see the doctor, first visit was fine then it was time for her 2 month check up and i still haven't received her birth certificate again they saw my daughter without her insurance in effect and provided her vaccinations. By the third follow up visit they call me an hour before her appointment explaining to me they will NOT see my daughter until the bill is taken care of. They said the bill was over 1200 and that unless we take care of the bill they will not see her. Then i called again to see if the insurance kicked in after i received her birth certificate they then said my balance was over 800 (which one is it). Not only did they DENY her next set vaccinations they have poor customer service. I called recently to have them run her insurance and someone confirmed with me that her insurance is good to go and she then began to schedule an appointment in the middle of me checking my calendar she puts me on hold and leave me on hold for over and half an hour. I had to hang up and call back and then wait again for someone to answer then when i finally get someone, whoever answered the phone did not care that i was put on hold and no one ever came back to provide service. she tells me that they do not except my insurance and that i am not able to schedule an appointment. I was livid. I have taken my daughter to them twice after her fist visit you mean to tell me you couldn't run the insurance and tell us from jump you do not except the insurance and that we need to switch it to "prime". And not only does my daughter need to see a doctor as soon as possible, they didn't care. The fact that they let my bill run up and then tell me she can no longer come unless her insurance is changed and the bill is taken care of. I would not recommend this CHKD to anyone! So now i have to find a new Pediatrician for my daughter because they act like they couldn't tell me from jump without insurance we can not take new patient's. Ridiculous!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh My daughter is now 5 months and only have been seen twice by a pediatrician because these people like to waist people time. I could have been made her an appointment somewhere else..

made appointment ahead of time to get my sick one year old seen. waited for almost 2 hours and still wasn’t called to be seen. everyone that got there after us got called almost immediately after checking in. will not recommend this place at all. i never take my baby to this location. it was my first time and can definitely guarantee that it’ll be my last.

usually good doctor however today me and my sick daughter was there for a 1 hour and 20 minutes I will definitely been searching for a new doctor for my kids

My children have been going here since we moved to Suffolk in 2011. Never had any problems. Dr. Bernardo is a great pediatrician and the nurses and office staff have always been helpful and friendly.

I love our pediatrician. She's so good with my boys and the staff is so sweet.

Horrible service. When they can't differentiate between a child physical to a school physical and how the insurance charges (that I have to tell them that there's a difference and there's no limitations and they didn't care to listen) that was the red flag for me. Never will I will ever go to that place.

This place is amazing. Market street has a family feel and treat patients like family. I came here after being stationed here in Virginia and moved to Suffolk. The front desk clerks are super nice and always do all they can to get the children in as soon as possible. Dr. Benardo is awesome. She enjoys children and is willing to see them whenever you call. The only down side is when you call for appointments, the call may get sent to the commerical lane location. The commerical lane location have rude clerks (and Im from NY). So that says a lot when I say they are rude. Its more of a business transaction, than a friendly helping environment. We have to leave this area after 4 years here, but we will miss Market Street and Dr. Bernado. They treated us with great health care for our daugther that was born premature and now in Preschool doing well. Great place. This team is amazing. Gail, Marveda and Dr. Benardo. Thank you all.
