Dr. Shaffer is the only optometrist we go to now. We've had excellent care for three years now. We are so glad we have found an honest, skilled, caring, professional to take care of our eyes. We were tired of the hours of waiting, dealing with many staff, seeing different people every time, prescription problems, cheap eyewear, etc. at other eye docs. We are now receiving the personalized care we were looking for.

Dr. Shaffer's office is so conveniently located too- just outside the Independence Blvd. Sears entrance at Pembroke Mall (lots of construction right now, but easily accessible). Call 757-456-5550 to schedule an appointment.

Dr. Shaffer is a warm and funny, yet professional optometrist. I felt instantly relaxed in her care. She quickly and expertly diagnosed the trouble I had been having, and helped me with my insurance and prescription issues. I was able to get an appointment the same week I called her office! I can't recommend her enough.
