Dr. Mapanao is patient and always answers my questions fully. She is a caring physician and I can tell that she is thorough too.

If you are black do not go to her. Wasn’t friendly and glossed over my concerns. I was a new patient but she didn’t introduce herself or tried getting to know me, just went straight to the computer and rarely looked at me to talk which is poor bedside manners. I Waited well over a month after my appointment in order to get my necessary medicine due to an error on her end.

I’d rather chew glasss then come here, I’ve heard bad things but I thought they just had bad experiences but after coming here for a while I can say it’s just the way it is. They don’t want you to come in sick they rather you figure it out yourself. Unless you kno the staff personally then you won’t be treated with any kind of warmth or understanding it’s truly horrible

Don’t come here, they treated people of color poorly! You can even tell staff you think certain staff is racist or prejudice and they laugh it off in your face. I’d never come here a day in my life and I wish I would’ve avoided it sooner. Truly a horrible experience

My mom went here to get a tuberculosis shot and was made to wait three hours; when she went to the five staff members (especailly a disrespectful team member Brittany ( at the front checking people in and asked for updates she as dismissed in a rude, aggressive disrespectful manner.They didn’t even look up from their phones or personal conversation to say hello when she walked in. If you want to get treated like an inconvenience, if you want dirty looks when your sick, when you want to be belittled come here ! They don’t like the patients they rather watch you die in front of them then offer any help. It’s disgusting and when she went to the office manager and told her she argues with her.BEWARE OF THIS PLACE I KNOW SUFFOLK IS SMALL BUT DO NOT COME HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO LEAVE WORSE THAN WHEN YOU CAME IN

Dr. Mapanao is the best provider ever! My prior doctor retired and recommended Dr. Mapanao to me, she was in the same practice. I have been seeing her for over 15 years. She is thorough, accessible and excellent at what she does! If you're lucky enough to get her when she has an opening, you'd better take it!
