During business hours like 10:30 AM no one picks phone AND it the voice mail is full. How can a patient communicate? Unreliable practice

I had the same experience as Naseef Rahman, they didnt tell me my insurance didnt accept it, and charged me anyways. Terrible technichians, and It has been 3 weeks havent heard anything from my sleep study. Additionally, they will charge you months later for a visit in addition to co-pay. Im currently talking to lawyers and will be taking actions in regards to fraud. I have emails and voicemails to back my claims. Avoid this place at all cost, if you have experienced something like this dont let them get away with this. Get a lawyer and pressure them.

Terrible doctor. I worked with Dr. Hoffman for three months only for him to inform me at the end of multiple sleep studies that nothing is wrong with me and his solution would be to “continue to monitor the situation” in hopes that something would magically change. My advice to you all would be to save your money and time and DO NOT see this doctor. I will continue my search for a doctor who can hopefully treat my situation properly. I now regretfully understand that this doctor cannot.

I have given this sleep doctor office multiple chances over the past few months and have been disappointed at every appointment. First of all, the doctor was extremely rude in all visits and had a blatant disregard for COVID-19 procedures, openly criticizing me for wearing a mask, which I initially was wearing out of courtesy. My first sleep study was cancelled the day before and I was told to first complete a take-home sleep study. After completing that, I had not received results after 2 weeks and then started calling the office. For a week straight, no one was answering phone calls or emails and I could not contact anyone in the office. After 3 weeks of frustration, I decided to show up to the office to get answers in person. There, I was told that the entire office staff was out due to a COVID-19 outbreak (ironic) and they had to fly-in a representative to run the office. At a later appointment, I was told the day of that the doctor had an emergency and we would have to reschedule. I didn’t receive the voicemail until I was almost at the office so I went in anyways. They told me that the doctor actually could see me then and I have to wonder if there was an actual emergency. We FINALLY scheduled my sleep study and the day before I get a call saying that we will need to reschedule my sleep study because the technician has an emergency. At this point, I was done with dealing with this office and refused to reschedule with this unprofessional and unreliable group. I had first scheduled an appointment months ago to find answers and now I am down to 2 weeks until I travel and I still have no help. Would NOT recommend this office if you want to actually be helped in a timely manner.

This provider was good for a number of years, but since August 2021 or so they seem to be going through an organizational train wreck. All three physicians they had associated with them have left the practice, and they have had a virtually 100% turnover of staff. They sent one of their top corporate-level trouble-shooters in from Florida for a week or two to try to get things back on track, but then I couldn't get follow-up from that person, either. There's one poor new beleaguered receptionist trying to keep everything from coming further apart. The doctor I saw, Dr. Hoffman, was good, in my opinion, but his billing was messed up and his staff was terrible about it. I can only hope they were better with medical records, as I'll need those for my new provider now that Dr. Hoffman has left. AAAAGH!

This place is really terrible. They had to shut down due to a COVID case for 2 weeks and didn’t notify patients that there would be delays with sleep study results. When you call, you usually get their voicemail but the mailbox is full. After over a month of waiting for results, I was read my results with no explanation over the phone by a tech who could not provide any recommendations aside from I didn’t need a CPAP. I would not recommend at all.

Worst experience throughout the whole process, first they deceived me saying they accept my insurance but didn't notify me that they are out of network after saying it's covered by my insurance. Then they put the service date incorrectly so my insurance won't process the claim and what they charge is a ridiculous amount and the bills just never stops. They are just robbers in disguise, worst decision I have made in my life by choosing them.

I was soo pleasure to see again our kind Tech : Helena during my second visit to the American Sleep Center (Vienna) .Helena is one of the most kind staff I meet.Very caring person with patience and professional skills with a great experiences with patients with sleeping issues, she makes you feel you are not just another number in the list ,and I believe that all patients are looking for.Thanks again Helena and Big Thanks to Doctor Hoffman for his professionalism and his highly recommended staff members very efficient,accommodating and responsive 👌.#The most thing I love in this Center is the Private Bathroom in my Room 🙏.Thanks for making my experience painless and easy.I highly recommend American Sleep Center (Vienna) for my friends or anyone with Sleep issues or disorders.

I have had a good experience at American Sleep Medicine. The doctor I saw foe my Telehealth consultation(Dr. Adawi), saw me 30 minutes early for my appointment and had a really friendly, lighthearted bedside manner, which I appreciated. The sleep technicians who took care of me and monitored my sleep during my two sleep studies (Vibol (“V”) and Fanis) were friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. Rebecca helped me with trying on different masks, and was able to respond to several other requests I had during that same visit; she also seamlessly accommodated my early arrival for that appointment so I did not have to wait long. The facilities were clean and relatively comfortable. It was never going to be like sleeping in my own bed, but it was as comfortable as they could make it. I would recommend this sleep center to others who need their sleep evaluated.
