I had laparoscopic gallbladder surgery at Carle Richland Memorial Hospital in Olney, IL by Dr. Elariny and he did an awesome job! I highly recommend him and all the nurses I had at Carle. They were all great and answered all my questions and made sure I was feeling ok.

I have had several procedures done over the years by Dr Elariny. His specialty is advanced laparoscopic procedures and Bariatric services. He removed “one of the worst one he had ever seen” gall bladder. And was able to do it laparoscopically. He is definitely one of the best ones in this area and he will not back down from a challenge. If you want the best then he’s the one you want

Dr. Elariny saved my husband's life! He went above and beyond by driving from one hospital to another one an hour away, where we were. to perform am emergency gallbladder removal. The diagnostic tests had not begun to show the severity of the situation. The organ was gangrenous and necrotic. He was also highly informative and pleasant in his manner.

Dr. Elariny is by far the most highly skilled, highly intelligent, personable physician....let me indeed give him the great respect he deserves and properly announce his should title of bariatric/general surgeon surgeon that I have met and I have worked in healthcare for almost 40 years. He performed my surgery October 2001 and I am 18 years out from having surgery performed by Dr. Elariny and I have successfully maintained/held steady off my body, 156 pounds of the 176 pounds that I lost. Following my weight-loss surgery, upon seeing my success, a total of five of my friends/associates followed my lead and had surgery performed by him and hands-down everyone loves him! I do and will always highly recommend his expertise to anyone.

Best Surgeon! In fact, he fixed another surgeon’s mistake in one surgery. He’s knowledgeable, compassionate, and such an excellent surgeon, we actually chose to follow him when he relocated to VA., for another surgical procedure, gallbladder surgery. Even during this Coronavirus era, because our family trusts Dr.Elariny. His expertise with different procedures, Robotic assisted surgery......He worked with us. He listened. His support staff, Curtis, incredibly pro-active. In fact, best surgical experience: before and after procedure. If you are looking for a surgeon, which we know is a very serious decision, our family wouldn’t hesitate to call Dr.Elariny , again. I think that says it all. May you all stay healthy and safe.

Dr. Elariny is a fantastic surgeon! I went to him after another surgeon had placed my medi port incorrectly. I needed it fixed fast but I’m a complicated case and needed to be put under. I can’t believe the difference between my experiences with this surgery. First let me say the staff at his Easton office is amazing. Everyone is so kind and helpful! Dr. Elariny has great bedside manner, he’s very reassuring and knowledgeable. He went over the best ways to preform the surgery and where to place the port, but ultimately left the decisions up to me which made me feel a lot more confident. He requested testing beforehand to make sure everything would work out and had me meet with the hospital staff to go over all of my medical issues. The day of the surgery was smooth sailing. Everyone was so nice! Dr. Elariny came in to make sure I was okay and we went over placement again. Then the anesthesiologist came in and personally took me down to surgery. Next thing I knew I was waking up in post op with a fresh port! They made sure I was comfortable before leaving and I didn’t have any issue with anesthesia or extreme pain. Now that I’m all healed up and the glue is gone I have to gush about how amazing my surgical site looks!!! You can barely even see my scar!! I don’t know how he even fit the device in such a small incision! And the port is also flush with my skin! It looks like a plastic surgeon put it in! Such a massive difference from my previous experience and I couldn’t be happier. It works great and I’m back to getting my treatments. A big thank you to Dr. Elariny and his staff! I highly recommend him for any surgical procedures!

Dr. Elariny has operated on me 5 times, saved my life the first time. His beside manner is great. Finally, a surgeon...who cares.

Another WLS doctor recommended that I see Dr. E bc of his expertise in WLS revisions. I was very pleased with the results.

I had a partial colectomy (removal of cancerous piece of my large colon). Dr. Elariny made it his priority and was done in 30 days after detection. He also emphasized the need to be "whistle" clean for the surgery. I took extra prep time to assure this. He was able to remove the cancerous section and reattach my colon, eliminating the need to wear a "bag". Priceless!!!!!

My opponent was at 7:45 pm, I arrived at 7:30waited till 8:30 and there is another person infront of me. When doctor not respect your time that’s mean he will Not respect anything else.
