I was the only patient in the practice, but I had to wait for 40 minutes to be seen. Dr. Bang spent at most 10 min with me - the tech was much more helpful and efficient.

I came for a routine eye exam. Nobody told me this is not a routine eye exam clinic. My medical insurance was charged, and I had to pay a lot more than I normally do.

I recently had cataract surgery and am delighted that my sight is better and that colors "pop" now. Dr. Bang was wonderful.... empathetic, caring and professional. I would strongly recommend her to anyone seeking similar surgery.

I saw Dr. Bang yesterday for the first time and was very impressed with her and her staff. I wasn't sure about the type of lens I wanted for cataract surgery, and the doctor, along with the videos, clarified my choices. She patiently answered dozens of my questions. I would feel completely confident about Dr. Bang performing my cataract surgery. She was strongly recommended to me by a friend after she had performed his cataract surgery. Her assistant, Nancy, was very helpful in explaining payment, surgery logistics, and the follow up visit schedule.

I recently saw Dr Bang for a general check-up. This was my 3rd visit with her and, as always, I was impressed with the kindness of the office staff. Dr Bang was also very nice and professional and thorough. She listened to all of my questions and provided me with helpful answers. I will definitely keep seeing her in the future! And, I have recommended her to several of my friends who have had eye problems and they all love her too!

I saw Dr Bang for an annual check-up. This was my 3rd visit with her. As always, the office staff were friendly and welcoming. As always, Dr Bang was professional and thorough and really nice. She told me about the change in my glasses prescription and about my dry eyes in language that I could understand and she took the time to answer all of my questions. I will definitely be going to see her again next year! I've also recommended her to some of my friends who needed an eye exam and they all loved her! I highly recommend Dr Bang.

Dr. Bang is very superficial and cares more about her memorized speech than answering patient questions and concerns. I have been to several ophthamologists and researched my problem for several years and she is BY FAR the worst I've met. I was forced to listen to very introductory information (that might be useful when first diagnosed) and told not to interupt her with questions. Other ophthamologists are flexible enough to say, "OK, then, how can I help you?" but she is too rude and probably afraid that you'll ask something she can't answer. She does not care about any existing medical problems or how they could interact with her surgery. She would not tell me how long the recovery period would be until the day before surgery. Yikes! How can I make plans? I asked for a new prescription for glasses because it is difficult to drive and she asked why I would want them because surgery would be in a few months. Say what? You want me to be driving when I can't see!! She is very condescending. I knew when she went through her speech it was to use up time so I couldn't ask the tough questions and I was correct. For me this was a wasted visit, but I found out one thing --- she is NOT the surgeon for me. If she can't answer my questions before surgery, then I can't count on her during or after surgery either. Moving on to another surgeon....and no, I'm not being overly fussy, just looking for one that has experience with Crystalens.
