List of Anthony Amabile's Reviews
This doc is patient and kind, always wlling to listen and answer questions. Very capable and looks at "the whole patient."
If you want the most useless doctor in the world, this is your guy. I think when you're talking about doctors the 1 star is enough. This guys is about as useful as, well damn, nothing. Just go somewhere eles.
Dr. Anthony Amabile, is the epitome of professional, being thorough, and goes far and beyond to diagnose and resolve the causes of medical pains and suffering. Doctor Amabile listens to my grumbling list of painful issues, symptoms, details, aches, and complaints. Then he takes them all into consideration for a definite resolve and true diagnosis. Unlike, other Doctors, who would suggest aspirin, Ben Gay and Tylenol for any kind of pain throughout 55+ years of my life. Other doctors did not attempt to find the cause behind the effect, even with all the visits to Civilian and Military doctors. I believe, Dr. Amabile is GOD sent. He ordered blood lab work and several tests and X-rays etc. We discussed the labs and test results, where he could eliminate other diseases that cause similar symptoms. Dr Amabile did not hesitate to get a second opinion. He referred me to expert Specialists to run test, confirm his SLE diagnosis and rule out other diseases. Other doctors for most of my life, prescribed meds like, Iron, Tylenol and Ben Gay for joint pain. None of their treatments helped. And the doctors never diagnosed my pains. They overlooked my knees, kidneys and other organs. Also, most of my complaints. Dr. Amabile diagnosed SLE (Nephritis) affecting my organs etc. Thank you GOD for Dr. Amabile. I have and will Continue to Recommend Dr. Anthony Amabile. He places his patients and improving our health as his top priorities. His Medical Team, Office Administration and Staff are excellent in their service, being professional, experts, knowledgeable and courteous. Anything less, would be unacceptable to Dr. Anthony Amabile.
Absolutely a terrible experience. Went to the doctor to become my PCP, all he had was his own agenda on how he could bang out my insurance. Never once tried to help me. Absolutely do not go to this one
I absolutely love coming to this doctors office. Amabile is an awesome doctor. He’s straight forward and helpful with explaining things. His office staff is the absolute sweetest and caring people.
I seen Doc Amabile several times over the years. Now, I'm done with him and his office staff. He hasn't been able to help with a couple not so serious things I was experiencing. I'll spare you the details except for this last visit (on a Monday). Went in with sciatica. I was in extreme pain, couldn't stand straight up, and had to stop several times to rest between my car and his office. He said sciatica and prescribed prednisone. We discussed pain killer/muscle relaxer but nothing prescribed. He said his #1 priority was his patients. He said to call him if I needed anything. Well, the prednisone didn't do much. I couldn't sleep at all due to pain. Moving around the house and doing basic tasks were impossible. Called his office Tuesday and nurse said that she would talk to the doc and get back to me. Nothing heard. Called again Wednesday at 7am when they open and again at 1200. Same response from nurse. Nothing heard back. Called Thursday again with same message from nurse. But they finally called back late Thursday and said the Doc doesn't prescribe pain killers but will prescribe muscle relaxers. I picked up the scrip Thursday eve and had first dose At 6pm. No help whatsoever. Pain was still terrible so went to ER Thursday night. Hadn't slept all week. PA at hospital said to stop the prednisone and prescribed Valium and ibuprofen. It works!Doc Amabile isn't worth the effort and his staff seem unorganized and uncaring.I am curious if he will call at some point to see how I'm doing but I highly doubt that will happen.
What a terrible doctor to go to. Avoid it all costs, he’s not interested in helping you. He’s interested in charging your insurance company
I was with Dr. Amabile for about 20 years and would still be if I didn't move out of state. Dr. Amabile is a awesome person and a doctor who cares about his patients and is very personable. He and his entire staff always provided me with quality and personable serivice. I miss them very much!
Careful. quality of service varies. follow through has been less than adequate. They are an office that values their time and not yours. When you see him, he is good, its all the easy things they fail to accomplish
My fiirst impression with Dr. Amabile as his new patient is everything! Five stars! I was referred from a friend doctor I used to work with at the hospital. I am thankful for Megan Receptionist and nurse Tom. Everyone was very nice, and it is nice to be treated well since you are the patient in need of help. Caring, smiling and laughing is good atmosphere for patients. I will continue to come here. I was very well taken care of.”

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
