List of Bindiya Magoon's Reviews
Dr Magoon is one of the most caring Doctors that I have had my entire life. She did my tests, diagnosed my condition, started my treatment and now I feel normal again. Besides having an excellent bedside manner, she made sure I had enough medicine and care until I found another doctor when I relocated. Thank you Dr. Magoon!
I was referred to Dr. Magoon due to high calcium levels. I found her to be extremely competent with great bedside manner. Very smart and personable. My only regret was that my condition will be resolved through surgery and I have no more need to see her. I highly recommend her. She is the best.
Sadly, I've been seeing her MUCH longer than I should have! My issues would've been much worse than what they currently are if I hadn't SELF-DIAGNOSED my condition and requested/demanded the required testing for verification. She can barely remember what my symptoms and concerns are, and on average spends about 10 minutes with me during any visit. She is also very condescending and has this weird smirk on her face when you're describing your pain. Zero bedside manner or empathy. I'm in the process of switching to another endocrinologist which has been a long time coming. Do yourself a favor and avoid this "provider" like the plague!
Thanks to her I now understand my blood issues
I wrote a review titled "Life Threatening Diagnosis" for Dr. Bindiya Magoon. Later realized I wrote it for the wrong doctor. It should have been for Dr. Brinda Dixit, my rheumatologist. I couldn't find how to edit/delete the original review so I'm writing another one to correct the original. My husband goes to Dr. Magoon and loves her.
First visit I saw her she diagnosed me with Ankylosing Spondylitis. Started with one Rx, eventually she put me on a different medication at a high disage (3000 mg). I ended up in the ER with Ketoacidosis, a life threatening health condition. After returning to her for follow up, she informs me (with blank stare) I didn't have AS and never did. NO explanation or apology. Never had such an incompetent doctor in my life. STAY AWAY!!
If you are coming from a doctor with a horrible bedside manner...you will consider Dr. Magoon a blessing until you've been with her for a while. There is never a hands on examination. Recently, I left feeling bewildered because she wasn't aware of a diagnostic test she ordered for me. And. much to my chagrin, the test results frightened me.
My first visit Dr Magoon took me off amourthyroid which I had been on for years. She does not like that medication. Put me on synthroid. After medicine adjustments I kept waiting for the medication to help me feel better. After one year I felt as if I was hypothyroid on no medication. Told her all the symptoms I continued to have...tired, anxious, insomnia, body aches and hair loss. She proceeded to tell me hair loss isn't a symptom of hypothyroidism! Since when?!!! Did blood work and said numbers were good so the only choice given to me was to stay on synthroid or synthroid with 3t. I have been going back and forth with the Drs office and my pharmacy for a week now! The Dr can't even get a prescription coded correctly so I only have to pay $11 for the med instead of $97. Honestly the best advice Dr Magoon gave me in her office was to go back to my other Dr that gave me the amourthyroid. Advice taken!
I was not impressed with dr. Magoon. She had poor bedside manner and was not willing to work with me to try and figure out the cause of the symptoms I was experiencing. I felt like I was brushed off and I left the office feeling upset and confused.
?? extremely professional

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
