I'm actually perplexed by all the bad reviews here... I dont find the front staff to be rude at all (would you truly be having the best day all the time if you heard kids screaming etc?), the nurses are great and Dr Simon is amazing...(Yes, book with her and wait for the appt, worth it) They are kind / easy about booking appts and even let me break up my vaccination schedule for my new born. To each their own, but don't let the other bad reviews stop you from getting care here with a great Dr.
I just tried to make same day appointments two minutes before the office opened and They were already booked. The website said it didn’t open until 9am nowhere did I see where the phones clicked over at 7:30 am. The recorded phone message said I could make a sick appointment on-line, and I could not. It is nice they have an Urgent Care, but going there turns my $15 copay into a $50 copay.
Took a day off to take my daughter to an appointment. When I arrived they stated my daughters appointment had been canceled and they tried to call but the number was hanging up. Upon further investigation they had called the wrong number that had been put in incorrectly by their staff, when the correct number was in another location in the chart. They refused to see my child although the error was theirs. It is disappointing to have such poor access that you can’t see your patients when you have made a scheduling error.
Incredibly over medicalized. A pediatrician there tried to diagnose my 5 month old with gonorrhea even tho none of us have ever had it and both myself and my partner were tested prior to her birth and we opted to skip that test at birth for those reasons. He then tried to claim that her positive viral test for CCMV was due to the bacterial infection of gonorrhea. The rash was in fact a yeast rash. That was then prescribed a heavy medication with adverse side affects instead of allowing an alternative to be explored first. My exclusively breastfed baby was also prescribed similac advanced and has since been projectile vomiting due to me not having consumed processed dairy while nursing her. The pediatrician refuses to change his recommendations on that. Not to mention the fact that he was ignorant completely about current WHO and AAP recommendations for feeding infants and told us to start my 5 month old who isn’t sitting up and has no head control or grasping interest on solids and to put oatmeal and rice in her bottles… I’m utterly disgusted. As well I have partial custody with my narcissistic abusive mother and she’s set up a passcode with them in order to prevent me from finding out appointment dates and times so that my mother can get them medical procedures against my desires. So if you’d like abuse enabling medical minded big pharma controlled pediatricians who lack critical thinking skills this is your place
Just go ahead and take your child to urgent care every time I call it something with these people either. They’re rude there to follow up or they tell me to just go to urgent care because obviously they don’t care. It is ridiculous.
Great in person office staff and phone staff. Every doctor we have ever met has been very sweet and child friendly. I have been here for sick and well visits with my three children over a number of years. I would highly recommend this place to anyone new here looking for a pediatricians office.
The wait time for a scheduled appointment is average 30 minutes late. Front desk staff is not welcoming. Took 3 days and countless phone calls to get the prescription needed for my daughter following a scheduled appointment to treat.
Dr Bazil has been wonderful with our daughter.
New to the area? I DO NOT recommend this office. Dr. Norris is awful. The receptionist are rude. It is the dirtiest doctor office I've ever stepped foot in. I've had to take my child to urgent care where he was diagnosed with pneumonia AFTER visiting this office where they did absolutely nothing for him. I am so disappointed. Looking for a new pediatrician for my child.
I am appalled re: long wait times on the phone. I was on hold for over 40 minutes on multiple occasions for the nurses line and the front desk answered. She informed me that there is no nurse line it gets transferred to front desk then they take the message for the clinical team. My child was sick for two weeks in a row. Never offered me a same day appointment and also recommended not to use CHKD urgent care?? I love his Ped at this office but this is not only frustrating but medical care shouldn't be this hard for a sick infant.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
