I have known Dr. Dowd for several years. He replaced my 2nd hip and monitors me every year. He is very patient and tells you the pros and cons of any procedure.

Dr Dowd performed my first knee surgery 5 years ago and now I’m back for the other knee. He is courteous, attentive and professional. Easy to talk to and very thorough. Great surgeon.

Dr. Doud wasn’t listening to what I was trying to tell him and he ignored all that I had to say. He had terrible bedside manner and he was rude and not courteous at all. He cut me off multiple times while talking and never addressed the issue as to why I was coming in. This has been the WORST physician experience I’ve ever had and I DEFINITELY will NOT be returning to see this doctor or refer anyone to see him ever again.

My first visit with Dr Dowd was as expected…patient, kind, and professional. He explained his diagnosis and recommended a plan of action to hopefully relieve my pain. My only ‘not so happy moment’ was upon arrival… arriving 30 minutes ahead of my appointment time as requested and being asked to stand at the kiosk and input data that I had already filled out (in detail) on the paper sent to me earlier as 2 receptionists sat at the desk having a conversation.

Dr. Dowd did my hip surgery a year ago this passed August and when I realized I needed knee surgery he was the first person I turned to.
