Kurt Mccammon's Online Review Report Card

Dr Kurt did my procedure last week, but I haven't heard from him since . And forget about trying to contact his office. His nurse Beverly is unprofessional and lies. I will never ever ever go back to this place again. I'm in the medical and I have never seen a nurse like this.

It was not good last year, I feel he had ruined the rest of my treatment plan, he also told the nurses to not help me with adult diaper changing which is refusal of services for people with disabilities rather it's mental or physical disabilities. I don't know his problem is, but it's discrimination against me and my medical care. I don't feel comfortable working with him or his staff in the future, and I don't want to deal with these restrictions he has put on me affecting the way I get special needs care. November 2nd's visit was a complete nightmare that I don't want to repeat again every year. He is mean to me, and got the nurses to refuse to help me. I don't appreciate this refusal of service an care, and something has got to be done about it. This mistreatment really made me sad and depressed.

Dr. Kurt McCammon recommended and performed a skin graft surgery on my penis about 4 years ago to treat a Lichen Sclerosis condition he had previously diagnosed. Horrible mistake! Since then I have been in constant agony, and consequently he completely ended my sex life. I returned several times to see what he might be able to do in order to give me some relief and he told me "to get a vibrator" ! I wish had gotten another opinion before giving him the go ahead on this surgery! Beware!!

Dr. McCammon restored my quality of life. His innovative treatment and surgery made it possible for me to function as a person and continue in my profession. My treatment required some painful procedures. He always displayed empathy. There is a reason why he is invited to less developed countries to train their physicians. In manner and skill he is one of the preeminent physicians in the Commonwealth of Virginia.

Was diagnosed with a kidney stone in hospital in severe pain. Was scheduled for surgery for a bypass stent for kidney stone. Surgeon said it would be better if I could deal with the pain to wait on surgery for removal of stone. I did so. Was supposed to receive a phone call day after release from hospital. Never received a call. I called and left message twice the following day with name and number. 2 days later called again left message with name and number in pain. No response!! Called next day which was a friday found out they had wrong number for me. Even though I had left correct number on answering machine several times. They told me they would contact me that day person in charge was with another patient. Never returned call. I called monday morning in pain asked for an appointment for surgery had to leave a message that stated the would get back to me that same day. Called back 1/2 hour before they closed in pain because I had not got a call back yet. Said I am in severe pain and could they please schedule my appointment she asked what insurance I had. I told her i was in process of sending in cobra info. She said she was going to have someone else call me and did not see appointment. I will not be using this urologist if I can help it. They do not care about the patients especially if they do not have insurance thanks urologist of Virginia!!!!!!

Always have problems getting refills on prescriptions and staff never returns calls

Mr. McCammon and his staff have not been able to return calls with one simple question in over 2 weeks. Horrible service. The answering service he uses is useless as well. The lack of care and professionalism is infuriating. Absolutely do not reccomend.

I was referred to Dr. Kurt McMannon at Urology of Virginia, where they have over 30 Urologists. Just my luck I see probably the worst doctor there. From his attitude to his tone of voice to his lack of empathy and lack of knowledge...all of this was part and parcel to my first (and only) visit with him.

I have been going to Dr.Mccamom since late 90's for any Bladder, Kidney Stones& UTI 's. Great personality & eye contact, which I Respect. Shari Edwards

I wasn't given results until I followed up with the doctor several times to find out the test that was given was the wrong test that I paid for. Then finally a month-and-a-half later a new prescription is given for another 24-hour urinalysis and now the week and a half later I have to follow up once again will the doctor. The nurse returned my call and told me that I need to go to a nephrologist and was very short with me did not give me any information other than having my physician reach out and refer me to somebody. Did not give me any instruction on what to do with my health issue.
