I like Dr Volz very much but he has relegated office visits to a nurse practitioner whom I do not trust. Currently evaluating my options. Dr Volz is a 10/10. The nurse practitioner I rate a 3/10. Looking for suggestions.. dr Habibi has been recommended.

Bladder cancer isn't fun but Dr. Volz made it understandable and bearable while treating me. His nurses are a bit abrupt but I wan't competent care rather than hand-holding and they did their jobs.

I was recently diagnosed with Stage 4 CKD and had a recent ultrasound of the kidney. My nephrologist referred me to this wonderful man. I had an extraordinary experience with Dr. Voltz today. His bedside manner is exceptional. I would definitely recommend Dr. Voltz for your urology needs.

A wonderful concencious doctor with a great bedside manner and a doctor that stays in touch with new procedures and treatments. He has been my doctor for 20 years. I research and stay on top of my health and would recommend Dr Voltz highly.

I have a serious ED condition. Age, heart meds, loss of a couple close family members. Yea 10 out of 10 would just about cover my condition. Tried the pills, plug sinus, headach, etc.limited reaction from jr. Dr. Volz has been a life sent. He listen, understood, put me on an injection program. My emotional sex life has turned around, wife's happy, I'm happy. Thinking og ordering new tags for my car. EDEX. A big salute to the entire staff.

I credit Dr Volz with saving my life , along with 2 associate doctors. I had a PSA of 58 and a Gleason score of 5+4 (a high 9). After treatment just over 8 years ago, my PSA is now nearly undetectable. This doctor cares, and I will always feel indebted to him.

My appointment with Dr. Volz was great. The after scheduling however has been horrid it is been two weeks and I finally got an appointment for a CT urogram, which should have been done between that appointment two weeks ago and the next one in two weeks. The office finally contacted me and told me that my CT scan was for the 30th the day before my next appointment however the staff to give me an address of where I was supposed to go. After searching the Internet I still have no idea where I'm supposed to be. Incompetence abounds. I'll be glad when this experience is terminated.

Dr. Lawrence R. Volz has been my only urologist over the years. He has provided excellent medical care. When he began practice in Portsmouth VA after many years in Williamsburg, went to the Portsmouth VA office. I am happy to have him back in Williamsburg. He is a caring, skilled physician who serves our community well.
