Dr. Williams is awesome! He is very knowledgeable and experienced in his field. Very easy to talk to and does not rush. He provided options to my husband that no one else would.

I really liked Dr Williams on our virtual appt thus I did not give 1 star but his office staff is very incompetent and just want to get you off the phone. They told me they would call me back for an appt not to call back and never heard from them. Then I called back and they put me again on hold for 15 or so minutes and then told me the only appt was in August except for the one office farthest away from me in June. So this has been going on since April trying to get scheduled If you are in urgency this is not the office for you cause you may never get to see this doctor.

Dr Michael Williams seems to be ok but not aware of what his staff is doing. Every time my husband has a BCG treatment or procedure, he gets an infection because nurses do not follow medical asepsis. When Dr Williams orders an ASAP procedure, Leslie ( the scheduler) doesn’t schedule until my husband calls her a week or two later. My husband once again has an infection and called 27 times and left one message (per their instructions) beginning at 8:30 am. Someone finally answered the phone at 1:30 pm. Leslie told him they would call tomorrow. Docs at Urology of VA, your staff has as much influence on the success of your practice as you do!

I really like Dr Williams but he works for Urology of Virginia, a large and very bureaucratic place. You can't talk to one person to get something done, it takes at least 2-3 people. My biggest complaint is they're always telling you someone will call you back but they don't. You have to call in and get the run around to get an answer.
