Nayeem Karim's Online Review Report Card

This Dr is very nasty. If I could give 0 stars I would.. Doesn't explain anything. Talks so fast it all goes over your head. He literally got in a shouting match with me when I was explaining how the Aricept and Namenda doesnt work for my husband. My husband has a Dx of Dementia. This Dr. Karim is heartless. .

I had a great experience with Dr. Karim the office staff was pleasant to work with also.

This MD actually takes the time to listen and figures out a solution.

This office has the worst customer service I have ever seen in any business. They will not listen to your needs. They will not call you back. You will never be able to speak to a person on the phone. Their phone system is setup to make sure it sends you directly to voice mail. You will not get an answer back, even in email. It took me a week to get someone to give me my test results and that was only after I went back in person to the office.

He actually listens and answers questions. Doctors Doctor kind of guy.

The staff was friendly however if you have a chronic illness or have rare conditions he is not the one to go to. My family member has had to go to several soecialist trying hard to get help they need for their conditions Dr K gave a only partial neuro exam kept telling them to “sit up” when they have chronic pain and full back injury and fibromyalgia.! He wouldn’t listen kept interrupting when they tried to explain their symptoms which they never finished

I have several medical issues that prevent ne from working my atty. sent Karim a questionarre he scribbled on both sides of it very professional of him,he sent me for a MRI and they discovered I also have degenerative/bulging disc in my neck he would'nt even write that in the form my lawyer sent very very unprofessional,completely unsatisfied sought alternative dr,s

Best experience with a doctor by far. Dr. Karim has the best bed side manor & actually listened to my concerns. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

I had been to several neurologists who could not get dosages right, and would not really listen to me and would just give me another pill to try. After a recommendation from a co-worker to check out Sentara Neurology I was assigned to Dr. Karim and he is AMAZING, he listens to you, makes professional recommendations, and with his help we have finally found a treatment plan for my chronic migraines. If I have any issues at all his nurse Jayme calls me back in a very timely manner.

There is no compassion in this man. I fell off the scale because i couldn't feel my feet. I told him i was having trouble standing. He replied by telling me you i walked in for your appointment didn't you?. He then has me do standing test in his office were i fell onto the floor. He told me my medical history didn't matter to him. He talked over me and just told me to take some pills which i refused. He did a EMG on me that was so painful i couldn't drive home afterwards. Worst Doctor!!
