Velocity Urgent Care- Town Center's Online Review Report Card

Moved as quickly as I'd expect with an urgent care. The front desk lady was very nice and patient with everyone

Efficient friendly staff. The PA was very thorough and very knowledgeable.

I was in with my adult daughter on 10/16 for a workman’s comp injury. The office staff were great. The PA that saw her was not great. He was the second provider to see her for her injury. He was told the last provider took X-rays but she was not contacted about the results. He said their X-ray machine was down so a physical exam would have to do. He proceeded to manipulate her injured foot and then said she was fine. She tried to tell him it still was painful but he didn’t seem to be concerned at all and told her she shouldn’t still be in pain and he didn’t know why she was. He gave her a work note that said she could work sitting with her foot elevated and that was that. Her employer must have needed a more specific note because they gave her a stool to sit on that allowed her foot to be “elevated” off the floor…. We had little faith that a more clear note would have been given by this PA had we asked… Due to the lack of confidence in this provider who seemed like he couldn’t care less, we took her to her normal provider who gave her an actual work note and referred her to ortho. When we came in for a required follow up today, 10/24, the staff was awful. They were rude, irritable, and suddenly I was not allowed in the back with her as per “policy” though, last week the staff had no issue with it at all. As a medical provider myself, I know that a support person is a valuable part of a patient’s care team. It’s not like there is limited space in the facility or the exam rooms. I’m confused as to why Velocity has a policy that separates a patient from their support person as a standard procedure. I understand domestic abuse concerns but this didn’t seem to be something they were concerned about. The person who did her vitals just said firmly and rudely that it is “policy”. This is all before we see the provider today. I would love to hear from an administrator as to if this is the standard of care for Velocity Urgent Care and how this benefits the patient.

Update: had to go again yesterday the 24th for my yearly sinus infection. Everyone was amazing, kind and caring! I saw the same friendly faces even Jen PA was still there! I felt horrible when I walked in and felt so uplifted when I left! Thank you to everyone for making me feel better. I highly recommend! The facility was very clean. And the staff was both professional and so friendly. Everyone I spoke to was polite and helpful. Jenny was wonderful and especially helpful in verbal explanations as well as providing print outs for me to read about my diagnosis. Great service! Highly recommend!

We were there 10/19 and everyone was kind and amazing as usual! We love going there, because the ladies are happy and make us feel so comfortable especially when you’re sick! This is the only doctors office we actually look forward to. Hopefully we won’t see you soon but thank you to everyone there!

Prompt, courteous staff and technicians. The PA was equally courteous and professional and returned with a quick diagnosis. I highly recommend Velocity!

Best service I've experienced with any urgent care. Definitely recommend this place! I was in and out within 15 minutes.
