Great doc!

Impossible to reach anyone. Sit on hold forever

Dr. Brugh is a thorough and compassionate physician. He has always been one of my most trustworthy care givers. I highly recommend him.

I had my vasectomy done yesterday and the procedure went without a flaw. Dr. Brugh is very competent and professional. He kept me informed throughout the process and made me feel at ease. I would highly recommend this doctor if you are considering this procedure.

Vasectomy. Easy procedure. No pain during procedure or after. Excellent doctor!

I came to see him for an elevated PSA. After discussion, he ordered/scheduled biopsy ASAP. I had second thoughts of the process. Someone suggested to do MRI first. I told him my decision for the MRI first. He tried to convince me to go for biopsy because whatever results in the MRI, the former is still necessary. Anyway, he scheduled an MRI at MRI & CT Diagnostics. Results of MRI were the following: Prostate size: 4.6 x 3.6 x 4.7cm Postbiopsy Hemorrhage: Absent Lesion Volume: No suspicious lesion is identified Extracapsular Ext: Not present Seminal Vesicle invasion: not present Lymph nodes: not present Bones: No suspicious osseous lesions Impressions: PIRADS 2 - Low (clinically significant cancer is unlikely to be present) Benigh prostatic hyperplasia. PIRADS v2 Assessment categories: PIRADS 1 - Very low (clinically significant cancer is unlikely to be present) PIRADS 2 - Low (clinically significant cancer is unlikely to be present) I never heard from his office after so long when the lab told me that the results were sent to his clinic the same week. After almost a month, I got a call asking me for the scheduled biopsy. I was surprised! I told the nurse that I am not doing the biopsy procedure. What I was expecting from him was a call for a visit to discuss other ways to reduce my elevated PSA. I was told later by another nurse that this will be discussed later during my follow up visit. I am not just happy with the way he handled my case.

I gained 21 lbs in 20 days..on his program.. enough said?

UPDATE: After I left a written review with the front desk, I received a phone call the very next day. A very nice woman named Catie with excellent customer support listened to my story. After apologizing, she confirmed that she would help make things right. She talked with the doctor, and of course, Dr. Brugh had no idea that had happened. They had me bumped up to have an immediate appointment. I just had that appointment, and the professionalism was excellent. I didn’t even have time to sit down and read the book I brought, because they were so efficient. Changing my review from 1 star to 4 stars! —————————— Absolutely ridiculous. October 4 I called for an appointment and the EARLIEST they could see me was for an initial consultation at 4 PM on November 14. I never received an email confirmation. Thankfully I actually wrote down all of the information when I booked the appointment. I parked in a lot that was under construction and apparently went in the wrong door. I go to the third-floor and find out that the doctor I’m supposed to see is back down to the first floor, through the connected building, and back up to the second floor. When I finally get through the maze of a building and get to the check-in, it is 3:55 pm. I stand at the check-in counter, while the woman fumbles around with some papers. I awkwardly stand there for about 15 seconds, waiting for the woman to acknowledge me. Finally, she addresses me while I’m staring at her, and she says "I’ll be with you in a minute, I just want to finish this fax." Of the three women at the counter, one of them, (Who seemed to have a different job, other than checking in people) leaned over and asked the second woman who wasn’t doing anything to help me. She fumbled around, acting like she was trying to finish up something herself and so she wasn’t able to help get me checked in. Finally, after a few minutes, the original check in woman looked up at me again and asked me for my name. After typing a few things in she said, “oh no, let me go see if they already started..." She goes to a back room, and after a minute comes back and looks at me with solemn eyes. "they already started, I’m so sorry." I stand there, awkwardly, looking at the three women, trying to make sense of what they are saying. Then, after what seemed like an eternity of silence, I looked at my watch. 4:03. Not kidding at all. I look back at them, and say “it’s 4:03 PM, you are telling me they’ve already started and I can’t come in?" The fax lady says, “yeah, I’m sorry." More awkward silence. Thankfully, the third woman who seemed most helpful, looked at me and tried to explain the situation. She told me that generally they want patient’s showing up 30 minutes early, to fill out all of the paperwork. If I started now, it would put everything back too far. I explained that I booked the appointment over a month ago. That I tried my hardest to get to the right place on time, and that they took some of that time away by fumbling around with faxes. She looked to see if she could book me another time. Not until the middle of January. They could see I was frustrated and knew that they were partially to blame, but didn’t do anything to go out of their way to try and find a better solution. Confirmed, I'll go somewhere else. Conclusion: clarity, compassion and customer service are major weaknesses here. For a urology center, I would hope they would have been more sensitive with the situation (pun intended)!

Dr. Brugh is super sweet and actually takes the time to listen to his patients. I felt comfortable during my appointment and didn't feel rushed like I have in the past with other doctors. I highly recommend him!

Dr. Brugh apparently finished school and became a doctor however he is very immature and lacks the feel for being effective at performing any procedures properly. He obviously can perform procedures and does, but not with the touch or knowhow in doing it correctly for the patients best interest or comfort. I rate Dr. Brugh with a 1 in providing a good standard of care to his patients. He?s okay for writing prescriptions and for proving urine analysis test but that?s about all he is good for.....
