Alexander Ellis Md's Online Review Report Card

Dr Ellis is a very thorough, intelligent and caring physician! He works with a well established medical group in Torrance CA. During his early work-time with this group, he helped to cover patients when others were on vacation or on leave. He has his own patient clientele but continues to provide assistance as needed. He has excellent training and he listens to patients' concerns or complaints to provide thorough assessments.

Dr. Ellis is the most caring doctor with the best bedside manner. He makes you feel like family. Thank you for taking care of me.

I'm a new patient to Dr. Ellis and was blown away by the care I received during my first visit. The facility was nice, clean and had plenty of parking. When I arrived the staff was actively sanitizing everything, I felt very safe. Two things stood out the most during my appointment, Dr. Ellis genuinely cares and wants the patient to understand what he is saying. He was very thorough and respectful with my physical examination. He took the time to walk through and explain my blood work, not just tell me everything is okay but actually explain why everything is okay. To me, it was obvious by Dr. Ellis mannerisms that he really cared. Whenever I spoke he stopped what he was doing to truly listen to what I was saying. They had a little mental health questionnaire for each client to fill out, I thought this was a nice touch. Part way through my appointment he stopped to ask how I was and if there was anything I wanted to talk about, he genuinely meant it. Although he doesn't specialize or deal with Mental Health I really respected that his office had an emphasis on it. I highly recommend Dr. Ellis. He is an overall great man and doctor.

I needed a new doctor and Dr. Alexander Ellis came recommended from my other doctor so I decided to give him a try. I called and set up an appointment and was instructed that they were being very selective about having people come into the office now which I can fully understand. So we scheduled an online meeting. I was not sure how it was going to go but it was great. What I mean by great was Dr. Ellis was very helpful, he listened, he asked questions, it was a very fluid conversation and I felt really at ease with him. I felt very comfortable with the video conversation. He came up with a plan and we are following through with it now. He even called me back later to talk about some other things that he caught after our video conversation which I thought was awesome. I appreciate that he really puts his efforts into the patient at the time. I cannot wait to continue this relationship, and I will be giving my other doctor some kudos for recommending him to me.

I have been to Dr. Ellis when my primary dr. Is out.I throughly like and trust how I was treated by Dr. Ellis. I am going to ask that he be my primary doctor.Its refreshing to know there are still doctors that will give you the time of day!

I was referred to Dr. Ellis by another Medical group and was more than impressed by him. I wish all doctors could be more like him.Dr Ellis was kind, courteous and very thorough at our first meeting. He took the time to listen to my concerns and scheduled a physical and a follow-up for the following week. Wow, what a difference as compared to my last dr. I would have to wait weeks for the next available appointment!Dr. Ellis's staff were warm,friendly and competent. Garret took my vitals and kept a lovely banter going with my husband and I. Amalia and Myrna were very sweet and friendly.All in all, I can't think of enough compliments I have for this group, I am so grateful to have finally found the right doctor for me.

I can honestly say Dr.Alexander Ellis is the most caring, honest, personable, best listener ever! I could go on, but I just want people to know that being disabled and 50 I have had more then a few bad Dr.'s. but never have I had one this amazing, that calls to see how your doing...ever, until Dr. Ellis.I can't say enough good things about him! I have had too many horrible Dr.s with bad bedside manner, don't listen or care,etc. that most of the time you see them once, then you just see the nurse. Dr Ellis actually listens and spends time with you, getting to know your past health issues as well as what's going on. When I got a call from him just to check on me, I was more impressed then I was before. I consider myself very lucky to finally have found an amazingly wonderful Dr. (big smiles)

I have been to many Dr's and I fianlly found a good one that knows what he is doing and actually listens! I went in for a physical with Dr.Ellis and a shot today with Nurse Ruby. I was in a out in under an hour, which I so appreciate!The office is very nice, clean and modern. Highly reccomed Dr Ellis, very polite and professional!
