Robert Baldwin's Online Review Report Card

I went to Dr. Baldwin originally for numbness and pain throughout the body along with other symptoms. He told me on my first visit that we would get to the bottom of whatever was going on and said he was going to help. He did order lots of bloodwork and numerous MRIs to which he could not find the answer to what was going on with me. It eventually got to the point where I could hardly walk or do every day tasks and that is when he did an EMG and ordered a spinal tap thinking I possibly had Guillain barre. I spent days in the hospital doing IVIG then was sent to a rehab center just to eventually be told that I suffer from a vitamin deficiency. His diagnosis/conclusion was to take B12 shots along with other supplements until the issue resolves and that was it. When I walked out of his office the last time he literally said good luck. He obviously had no intention of trying to find out why I had a vitamin deficiency or what was causing it. I really don’t know if it is the lack of expertise or lack of care but not ONCE did he personally ever call me with test results or follow up. Anytime you call his office they always say they have to call you back and half of the time they don’t. I will say he is nice and it does SEEM like he cares at-least at first but at the end of the day I wonder how much he really does. Luckily I went to VCU for a second opinion and got a completely different diagnosis along with vitamin deficiency that I am now getting treatment for. It makes me wonder what would’ve happened if I had not gone somewhere else and had just waited it out like I was pretty much told to.

He was very helpful and great about explaining all that I had no trouble understanding. He and his staff are very professional and personable. Even though I was nervous about all going on with me, felt better after talking with him.

I enjoyed Dr. Baldwin's bed side mannerism. He appear to be a very motivated and driven doctor that actually cares to help, or at lease that's what my intake is on this doctor. Unlike other doctors I've came in contact with, had been very rude and unprofessional. Dr. Baldwin listened to my symptoms and assessed everything accordingly. However, I gave him 3 stars because I am not too sure if he's skilled enough to make an accurate diagnosis on my unique diseases. Either way, Dr. Baldwin's attitude is AWSOME! I definitely recommend him to others, in the future.

Dr. Harding is multilingual, compassionate and routinely shows high level mastery of his chosen disciplines. Truly, one of the best.

Dr. Harding is a very patient and wonderful diagnostician he is never belittling to his patients and he assumes we all have some knowledge and doesn't try to overwhelm with silly definitions that most people already know! He seems to really love his job and is kind to all his patients he has a marvelous staff and he is a joy to spend time with! I love how he speaks so beautifully about his wife and children.

He has the best bedside manners of any doctor I know. He talks to you like he has known you for years. He explains everything to you so that you understand it and he is always very caring about the patient. He is the best! God Bless him.
