David Snow Md's Online Review Report Card

I started seeing Dr. Snow in March 2015 and he did more for me in one visit than another psychiatrist did in 6 months. I can't recommend him highly enough.

Dr. Snow is careful with med management, will include families input for the best outcome for the patient. Our adult child is under his care & after a few not so good years with another psychiatrist is now open & trusting with Dr. Snow. So much has been accomplished since he has been Dr. Snow's patient for our families betterment. A lot of that is the confidence level we have now with Dr. Snow and his caring staff. Mental illness treatment is not a one size fits all deal. We felt like he would never feel good again & now we see major improvement. His office is well run & professional. Appointments are kept on schedule, but you will never feel rushed. For us a Godsend.

I have been a patient of Dr. Snow for many years for anxiety problems. I appreciate his punctuality and attitude. He is direct and doesn't waste your time. One day my appointment happened to fall at 10 a.m. Sept 11th, 2001. Another office in the same building was watching the news on tv and reacting over the events. Dr. Snow took my appt on time and ignored the events that were out of our control. At first I was a little taken back, then I realized his job was to help me not comment on world disasters. He stayed focused on the reason for my appt. which kept me focused as well. He's an excellent doctor and I would recommend him to anyone who is ready to deal with their problems.

Dr. Snow is simply the best. I've seen five psychiatrists and seven counselors of various types, in two states for bipolar disorder. He without fail can answer any question related to bipolar disorder given him. He listens; more than that he believes you - even if what you say is not captured in the literature. He will steer you, directly, but only when needed and only when he sees you are ready. He recently changed the entire course of my life, with one word. Had he used any other word, and he knew this, he would have alienated me. He said that I "misinterpreted" a crucial event; he did not use the word "misperceived" which would have made me angry. He knew this. He spent 20 extra minutes of time with me when I needed this conversation even though he had to be somewhere and was going to be late - I was his last patient of the day. He knows the meds. He knows what you need. He will change them if you don't like them. He's the best. I owe him everything. He gave me a future, with hope!

Dr David Snow is the most caring Psychiatrist I have known. Unfortunate for me, I have seen several throughout the course of my illness. I would highly recomend Dr. Snow .He doesn't rush you through with a prescription in your hand. He ask questions and has discussions with you before he makes any changes in medication.HE LISTENS.He also educates his patients. He believes the more a patient understands his/her illness, the better they will be able to communicate with each other concerning his treatment efforts and goals. His staff is super. They treat you like they care..because they do. Dr. Snow is well known in this area. It may be hard to get in to see him, but keep trying. Dr. Snow donates his Fridays to a local low income facility. That says a lot about the kind of person he is.
