List of Jerome Kochinsky's Reviews
We were waiting 3 hours prior to see this doctor. So any healthcare professional would understand the patient would be slightly irritated by this point. My boyfriend wasn’t rude directly to the doctor. You could just hear the frustration in his voice. Now if you’re a PROFESSIONAL you’d try to diffuse a situation before it even escalated. But instead this doctor wanted to insinuate my boyfriend was lying and continued to talk to him like he was a piece of scum. Wouldn’t really listen to him at all. Then proceeded to call my boyfriend an idiot very loudly and walked away. We decided to leave at this point and when he went up asking the doctor to take the needle out of his arm that’s just been sitting there for 3 hours. The doctor called the security stating “get this hillbilly out of here!” The security guard was extremely nice and understanding. The, what we believe was the head nurse, was extremely helpful as well. She was able to resolve what we originally came in for within 10 minutes, and helped us file a complaint. This man should be mopping school floors. Not in a profession where he has to be the slightest bit hospitable.
He was only in to see me for about 5 minutes and left the nurse to tell me the results of the test. Did not seem concerned that I couldn't walk due to the pain.
This Dr had me escorted out of the ER today. He said I was there for other things then being sick, I'd contemplated going for 3 days as I am afraid of needles and dreaded being poked....in addition to not eating and barely sleeping for three days as well... I was able to safely drive again, after being removed- escorted out by security - I went to urgent care. They treated me best they could and couldn't believe what happened at this Winchester Medical Center. Their diagnosis was that I needed a CT scan to determine the cause of my severe abdominal pain. BUT since I was humiliated and thrown out I couldn't goHe insulted me, was very rude told me to stop wasting his time. Called me a liar in front of staff and other patients.Google this doctor before you see him.. my wife said I should call the news. I will depending on the response I get when I file a formal complaint tomorrowSomeone needs to let him know its 2018 and he cannot speak or treat people the way he might have 36 years ago when he graduated med school. He humiliated me and refused to treat me ...he didn't even examine me or introduce himself. Shame on this facility for allowing staff to do this, he denied me care....and I have healthcare insurance!!RH
Dr K is amazing!! Best ER Dr at Winchester Medical Center. Wish he were a Primary care physician cause he qould absolutely be my Dr. Thanks Dr K!!
Dr. Kochinsky was incredibly abrupt. I was told to change into a gown, and while changing, he didn't even knock to make sure I was decent and not showing the rest of the ER my goods. Then without explaining anything as he went, he rudly examined me. When you have MULTIPLE people that work for Valley Health telling you that NO ONE wants to come to their ER/hospital, you know it's time to start fixing things. Unless I'm bleeding to death, I would rather take a trip to the Loudoun or Fairfax ERs!
MY FATHER SPENT 46 IN THE HOSPITAL, BEING INTUBATED AND ALMOST LOSING HIM 3 DIFFERENT TIMES HE WAS FINALLY ABLE TO GO HOME WITH HIS FAMILY. HE IS LIVING WITH A TRACH AND SIDE EFFECTS FROM A STROKE. MY FATHER HAD TO AGAIN GO TO THE ER WITH WORSENING SYMPTOMS AND DR KOCHINSKY TOLD US HE WASNT GOING TO RACK UP ANOTHER $10,000 BILL AND SAID HIS SYMPTOMS WERE JUST AFTER EFFECTS OF HIS STROKE AND HE WOULD NOT DO AN MRI. THE WMC STAFF WERE SURPRISED AT HIS PROFESSIONALISM AND ASSIGNED US A NEW DR.
I don’t know where to begin. Such hubris from such a small man. Misdiagnosed (the actual diagnosis from a real Dr suggested his negligence could’ve proven fatal), did not read and prior reports, and test results with critical information we not discussed or even mentioned on my discharge papers. If I weren’t my own advocate I would’ve never known. In addition to all of this, he was extremely rude and spent 95% of his time bashing other Dr. if you don’t have a passion for helping people, maybe a Dr was the wrong career choice. If this man is listed as your ER dr, I suggest you request a new one or go to another facility.
If you get him at the ER run away as fast as you can. Request another doctor. Question everything and talk to your nurse instead. He is rude, unprofessional, and he misdiagnoses. He doesn't listen, is condescending and doesn't review tests. He is insulting. When my tests proved serious medical conditions he told me it was all in my head and that he was going to give me some medicine to, "calm your brain." He tried to give me an antihistamine meant to reduce itching which had absolutely nothing to do with what I was there for. It was the nurse who reviewed my tests and discovered what was wrong after she became confused about why he wanted me to take the antihistamine. Don't put your life in this man's hands. Research him, I'm not the only one complaining about him. I will be filing a complaint with the hospital.
I would NEVER recommend this guy to anyone for ANYTHING. The things I heard this man say about me after he very unprofessionallly and rudely "examined" me were DISGUSTING! He laughed in face when I voiced my complaints to him. I have filed a complaint with Winchester Medical Center and I plan to make sure he knows this is not okay! I'm sure I'm not the first and I doubt I'll be the last patient he has been so rude to. He's has NOOOO business being a doctor. Request someone else if you get him!
He is a very gifted doctor that shows compassion and puts you at ease in extremely painful emergency situations

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
