List of Maria A Bogaert Md's Reviews
This was my first visit with Dr. Bogaert. She was attentive and pleasant with a playful wit. I couldn't have been happier. Feeling very fortunate to have found her.
Dr. Bogaert is smart, she knows her stuff and has excellent bedside manners. I've always gotten the best treatment from her and she's always spot on with her evaluations.
This is the first time I have ever written a review about a dr. but I felt that it was necessary. I was very impressed with Dr. Bogaert, and her nurse as well. I just had my first appointment with Dr. Bogaert a week ago and she did what I would call, a minor but delicate procedure. I have to admit, I was more than a little apprehensive after reading some of the reviews but I was so pleased with her gentle and caring bedside manner. She put me at ease and I really felt like she cared about me and it's been a long time since I have felt that from a dr. She called and left me a message this morning, with some test results, letting me know that everything was fine. It was so refreshing to get a call from the dr. instead of a nurse. Nothing at all against nurses but nice to hear directly from the dr. I had a few questions for her and left a message with her nurse to have the dr. call me back and it was just a couple of hours later that she called me back and answered all of my questions. Sh
In the past I saw her 2-3 times & she seemed interested in me. Answered my questions & took the extra time to look me over for moles. I do not like the other Dr,s in the office. They will not take no time with you.
Very disappointed and angry that after having mohs surgery to remove a squamous growth on my face I later had a large bump on my face along with swollen lymph nodes and could not be seen for 2 months. When I finally was seen the nurse noted that it looked like something was going on with my lymph nodes. Dr Bogaert quickly checked my body for anything suspicious but just glanced at the now large and sore bump and swollen face and threw up her hands and said no not cancer you need to see your PCP. When I was seen by an ENT one week later he immediately advised that it looked like cancer; he took a culture which confirmed it was squamous cancer. Squamous can come back from the skin into the lymph nodes . Why did Dr Bogaert not suspect this? I am 85 years old with many medical problems and am now faced with surgery to remove the lymph nodes and radiation. Very disappointed and angry and scared:
First of all, Dr. Bogaert is one of the nicest doctors I have met. She is friendly and upbeat and her staff was really nice. I went in for skin tags and melasma and figured I would need to make another appointment for the skin only to be told they could do it then and there. I was happy with that and it took less time to get several skin tags removed than it took to get to the office. And Dr. Bogaert was very thorough in explaining melasma and treatment and skin protection. I, also, like that she wasn't pushy like some doctors that say you should do this and oh I see that and it should be corrected. I would highly recommend her and wish that she could be my PCP doctor.
Dr. Bogaert is excellent! I have been a patient of hers for a dozen years, and her care, expertise, and attention to detail are outstanding. I would highly recommend her to anyone!
Dr. Bogaert was great with my son. She was very friendly and helpful.
Guaranteed 100% that her diagnosis was correct only to find out it is not. Even her nurse hinted that she was wrong in her 100% certainty of her diagnosis.
Not as knowable as she thinks she is. Will not go to her practice ever again.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
