Dr Asheesh Gupta is a trusted orthopedist /hip specialist who is client focused, kind and personable. He listened to my concerns about my drastic change in mobility. He did say I was not an easy case so I was glad to have him on my team. Dr Gupta and his staff answered all of my questions before / after surgery and provided me with resources for the smoothest recovery. Thank you Dr Gupta for everything you do, so I can return to my love of hiking. I am about 10weeks post op and the National Parks are calling. Looking forward to visiting new ones once I’m fully recovered.

Dr. Gupta is a very caring and attentive doctor. He listen to my request to perform surgery on my knee as soon as possible so I could begin rehab 2 & 1/2 months prior to my scheduled ski trip. Surgery and recovery went like a charm! I would highly recommend a consultation with Dr. Gupta for any knee related issues.

Dr. Gupta is amazing! After my hip replacement I was back on the job building decks in two weeks. If I had known my hip would be feeling this good I would have done this earlier!

For several years I had experienced pain in my groin which kept becoming more and more painful. Eventually I was unable to do many of the outdoor activities I had always enjoyed. My primary care doctor referred me to Dr. Gupta after X-rays revealed I had severe arthritis in one hip. Dr. Gupta advised total hip replacement. I wasn't eager to have surgery, but I wanted to have an active life again. Dr. Gupta was very personable and patiently answered all my questions. The surgery went smoothly. Four months later I am once again able to enjoy outdoor activities as well as everyday activities at home pain free. I am very grateful to Dr. Gupta and recommend him to anyone needing hip surgery.

Dr. Gupta and staff were fantastic. Once a total hip replacement was warranted, we got it booked. The surgical center staff were fantastic and Dr. Gupta explained the procedure. I was completely happy with the outcome, post-op and follow up.

Dr. Gupta and his staff were wonderful. They understood my hip issues and were attentive, friendly, knowledgeable, and timely with my hip replacement and recovery. I also want to thank the Physical Therapy staff (Keith and Martha).

Dr Gupta is the hip replacement surgeon I was hoping to find. He was very personable and caring. Discussed my concerns and goals for post hip replacement surgery. My surgery was at 12pm at the Sentara outpatient center and I was home by 5pm With in 2 weeks I was walking normal and doing regular activities. After 8 weeks of physical therapy I was back to playing Pickleball, took a trip to Africa which required a lot of walking. At 3 months I returned to Orange Theory workouts, yoga and my level of play in Pickleball has returned to normal. I would highly recommend Dr Gupta.

On my first visit Dr. Gupta was very professional and attentive to my pain level that I had been experiencing for over two years. Prior to this visit I had seen two separate clinicians. Dr. Gupta determined the correct diagnosis after my first visit and after the report from an MRI exam. After surgery and at my post op appointment some six weeks later my pain level is 2 to 3, and feel much better than I have felt for some time. I'm so thankful to Dr. Gupta, the individuals in his practice, and those clinicians that assisted in operating room.
