After incurring a broken humerus from a fall this summer, I sought the expertise of NOVA Orthopedic. My son had been seen a number of times by another physician there, so I had complete confidence in the practice. After my initial consultation, I knew that I was in good hands with Dr. Press. He explained everything completely, gave me best options moving forward and did so with great care and concern. My particular injury required the bone to be grafted and my shoulder replaced. I was told by Dr. Press that it was a challenging repair, but I was confident that I would regain my mobility. My surgery for a Complete Reverse Shoulder Replacement and humerus repair went extremely well! I felt very little pain post surgically and my recovery has been a breeze. I credit Dr. Press, his surgical team and PT with such a great outcome! It's rare to find a doctor/surgeon who can connect personally with a patient and offer such a high quality of medical care! Dr. Cyrus Press has never operated on me but had consulted for me when I had a level 2 tear on my ACL. His 2nd opinion was very helpful and the exercises he gave me were essential to my recovery. I've had three shoulder surgeries. Dr. Press did the most recent one, and what a difference! The result was fantastic! Unlike the previous surgeries, I healed quickly and without any complications. Dr. Press was highly knowledgeable, caring, and (obviously) a great surgeon. He knows his stuff!! Thank you Dr. Press!!!

After a not so great visit with another Ortho doc I met with Dr. Press in reference to a torn distal biceps tendon. He was incredibly informative, kind and reassuring. Was very clear about the options available.

As a field case manager for workers compensation, I get to meet lots of providers. Dr. Press was one them. I had an issue with my left shoulder in 2017 and was evaluated by another provider who was knowledgeable, but not pleasant. My shoulder issue returned in August 2021, so I saw Dr. Press. At the first appointment, I had an x-ray and Dr. Press evaluated me and took the time to talk with me about the issues. An MRI was recommended as this was the second issue with this shoulder. I had surgery on 10/28/2021. Dr. Press was very attentive and had a great bedside manner. Brandi, his NP was also the same. The physical therapists were also awesome. I had my second follow up appointment on 1/31/2022. I have no pain, full range of motion and no longer need physical therapy or have a follow up. I have recommended him to friends and colleagues. I will definitely return to him in the future. The only way I will not is if he retires which will make me really sad. Thanks Dr. Press!

👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾 Is what I’ll give to Dr Press and his team. I had a rotator cuff almost completely torn off. I didn’t know how bad it was just excruciating pain and discomfort. When I first saw Dr Press he said probably surgery, I didn’t like him as much but he had a very professional and empathetic demeanor about him which encouraged me to trust him; fast forward 10 weeks, I have well about 75% of mobility restored to my shoulder even though it’s still not fully healed. I had a total shoulder replacement done. I want to thank Dr. Press and his team for the outstanding job on my shoulder. Dr. Press explained all options and risks involved with the procedure. He did not pressure me into the surgery which I appreciated. It’s been 12 weeks today that the surgery was done and my shoulder is great. I’m further along than what my therapist thought I would be and everyone is happy ( myself included) about my results at this time. Still have more therapy to do. I will update at a later date. Dr Press is a very kind and honest doctor. Always listens to your opinions and questions and answers without hesitation. My shoulders condition happened in a matter of months. Dr Press explained in detail prior to the surgery as it was alot to understand. I had frozen shoulder so physical therapy started 2 weeks after surgery. Three months later I am using my arm more than I ever thought. His assitant Brandy, was thoughtful and took every call with my concerns. Dr Press and his team do great work during and post surgery. I came from out of state to do my surgery as Dr Press is a true skilled professional doctor. I highly recommend him. Dr Press is a very kind and honest doctor.
