They decided to not let me know they had a delivery issue with my medicine and instead sent a nurse to attempt to make small talk with me while they sent the doctor to actually leave and go get it, like i wouldnt notice. Well i noticed when the doctor yelled “it has to be remicade” across the room. Way to go! I missed a day of work because THIS brilliant office, with its amazing scheduling, actually takes 8:30 am appointments despite not getting the medicine til 9 am. Next time, take responsibility and own up to it.i caught you, and then you apologized. I don't like to give poor reviews, but need to tell about my experience, in case it helps another. 1st I will say that I am now cancer free but the beginning of my journey, I was referred to Dr K Because of the proximity of where I live to his office. He initially put me on chemo for 6 cycles which is actually 12 treatments. Everyone I had mentioned this to seem like it was excessive for stage 2, but I proceeded with the program. Followed my 5th treatment, a new pet scan showed the cancer was gone. 😀 Apparently classic hodgkins lymphoma is easy to cure if caught early. Then Dr K said we continue all 12 treatments what? but if it killed it in 5 treatments why would we continue with 7 more? After consulting with my insurance advocate they convinced me to get a second opinion which I did and found that I did not need 12 treatments, that's just a lot of poison. Also the American Cancer Society website explains the protocol and that after a clean pet scan you cease chemo and follow up. It also says that too much chemo, can lead to blood cancer later in life!! What?😱 so I showed the 2nd opinion to DR K and to decrease program. One more thing, in my 2nd opinion at a INova I found that due to my age which is only 50 and In general good health, I did not need to take neulasta which is a white blood cell booster shot that's very expensive and gives horrible side effects. Dr K insisted I take.😠 Inova doesn't use these in their program at, unless patient is old or immune compromised. I believe its just a money maker for them. I do want to add that the nurses were awesome at his office, this review is only directed at him. In closing, take control of your own health and do your research if you doubt . Totally unprepared. Was not familiar with my case, past treatments nor way forward. Was reading up on my charts real-time. I have little confidence in him as my doctor. Considering my options. Bedside manner also poor.
They really do care..
I visited Mr. Khosravi in late November 2019 when my Mother was diagnosed with a blood disorder. I call him Mr rather than Dr. because he did not behave the way one would expect a Dr. to behave. Our experience was not what anyone should ever expect to have with a doctor. After a new diagnosis and a prescription that my mother would have to take for the rest of her life, my family was looking for answers, patience along with compassion and understanding, we got none of that from Mr. Khosravi. After 15 minutes he literally said “I have been patient with you and your questions but I have other patients waiting for me and walked out of the room. We of course sought a 2nd opinion with Dr. Leandro Moraes, MD of Loundon Oncology and found exactly what we should have gotten from the other person, respect, care, understanding, patience, compassion and time along with a detailed explanation of everything. Surprisingly, the diagnosis was the same but the experience was like night and day. Do not see Dr. Khosravi if you have a choice. My description of him is Competent Jerk! Every time I come for my appointment I have to wait 30 minutes past my appointment time to even have my called name and put in a room to wait again to see a nurse or doctor. They need to have better time management and a better system for appointments.
Very disappointed with Dr. Khang. Disinterested, passionless care. Then pawn you off to hospice with out further contact.
no one in this office is caring or compassionate. They do not treat patients with dignity or respect. Receptionist snaps at patients. They do not answer questions. They are not helpful.
Very friendly staff , always feel very welcome ! has gotten me threw so many things over the last 5 years ! I just love them!!!
Dr Khosravi has spent time to make sure my wife and I understand my cancer treatment options and what to expect. I am currently receiving bi-weekly infusions. The professionalism and pleasant manner of Ronnie and the rest of the staff make this very easy to tolerate.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
