Sad that I have to put a 1 star because the doctors are amazing here, but I’ve had an awful experience with Patty the OB coordinator. When the stafford office faxed over my FMLA paperwork to her I emailed her to verify she received it a day after- no response so it came close to when my paperwork was due I tried calling her extension and left a message and after a couple days received no response so I continued to call and still no one had picked up. At this point no one has been able to help me and I could potentially be denied my leave because of her. Multiple people have told me they would try to reach her or get it figured out and I would receive a call back still nothing….. extremely unprofessional. Maybe they should hire multiple OB coordinators because this one seems to be struggling at her job.

I have been going here since 2010 for each of my pregnancies. The environment of the front desk has changed and is very unwelcoming. The nurses, MAs, lab techs and Doctors I see I have no issues with at all however, I must say I’ve been in the medical field myself for over a decade and the front staff could be more compassionate. I read most of the reviews and I couldn’t help but share my own experiences with the front desk in Woodbridge because previously when I went there for my first two pregnancies the front desk were so involved, so welcoming and it just used to be a “warmer” entrance. I miss that. If it wasn’t for this I would give a 5 star review. I have to emphasize the care and compassion of the clinical staff as well because positive things should also be accounted for.

I called about birth control services, lady on the phone was rude :/ - 10:40 am

I had a very good experience. Dr. Laurie Carpentar and her assistant was aware of my needs, very patient, kind, friendly. Made me feel very comfortable. I usually search out different OB/GYNs when I feel uncomfortable. I saw them twice and each time the experience was excellent. The staff showed excellent customer service. I will recommend to friends.👍🙂

Doctors & medical students are wonderful! When it comes to the front desk, there is 1 dark-skinned Asian that unfortunately makes a bad name for the rest of the ladies.; She refused to schedule my Colposcopy during my last appt due to her reasoning that "what I am asking her is too early to make the appt". When the Doctor asked me during my next appt if that Colposcopy was scheduled, I exactly explained that specific reasoning the front desk woman said. As a result, the other front desk coworkers have to pick up her slack. It seems there are other patients writing about her are experiencing her same work ethic. I wish I knew her name so she can be specifically disciplined.

I called twice last week to get my medical records no call back. I called this morning for a follow to get it. I spoke with someone at the front I explained to her I will like to get my medical records. Every time I talk she talks over me I said to her I can’t explain what I need when you’re talking over me she then got an attitude and hung up the phone. I use to like this place when my doctor was there but now I see why she left it’s very unprofessional. I am in disbelief this is how they treat previous or past patients. 0 stars.

THIS PLACE HAS THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE, the doctor’s are nice but all other staff are INCREDIBLY RUDE, there is NO COMPASSION what’s so ever when it comes to their patients. Half of the staff don’t even no what’s going on, so INCOMPETENT. When they call you and you don’t pick up goodluck trying to figure out WHY THEY CALLED. I SUGGEST YOU LOOK ELSEWHERE FOR AN OB. Never coming back here after this pregnancy. UGH

Dr. Hunter is THE DOCTOR TO SEE! He was everything I needed during, what felt like, the scarriest day of my life. He was confident, calm, and attentive. I knew in my heart I was under the best care, with the best doctor who was making the right choices for me and my baby. If you live in the Woodbridge area, don't bother going anywhere else but About Women. Great atmosphere, great doctors, great office/adimistrative services, top knotch care.

About Women OBGYN is an excellent group. Highly professional from the receptionist to the doctors. I always feel comfortable with my awesome doctor Dr.Alembik. I am a nurse and nurses know the best doctors around. If you are looking for a doctor for your checkups and medical needs, please call this group. I highly recommend them. Thank you guys 🙏🏼
