Dr. Alathari and Madison Lim are wonderful. Very respectful but down to earth to relate to issues. I highly recommend this practice.

I was a patient of this office for over a year. I have mixed feelings about the doctor and his staff. Seems like when I first started going there he was really interested in helping me get my depression and anxiety under control. It's difficult for me with medication because I have a lot of side effects that prevent me from being able to continue medication especially when they increase the dosage. The last few appointments I've had I left feeling worse than before I went. I wrote down how I was feeling because I had an appointment with him that next week and wanted him to see my thoughts even on the medication. When I showed it to him, he barely even looked at, disregarding the fact that I wrote anything and just said uh-huh. Really how are you going to understand where I'm at, if you're not even interested in reading what I wrote? The last straw was when I spoke to the manager about something that was going on and he said he would talk to the doctor can call me back. A Few days go by and I don't hear anything so I called back and the receptionist says that the doctor hadn't even responded to the message. She said she was going to send a note to find out what happened and that somebody will call me back. Several more days go by still no call back so I called them to speak to the manager to try to find out what's going on. So the receptionist precedes to tell me oh he put a note in here if you happen to call back then you need to make an appointment but the doctor doesn't have anything until two weeks from that date. First of all "if I happen to call back" excuse me! I've already called you twice! You said you were going to call me. What is most disheartening about this whole thing is the fact that many mental health care providers and their staff appear to have no concern for those with mental illness themselves.

First: he didn’t spend enough time to even listen to my issues 8-10 minutes and he want to leave , he never asked what and how much I actually using and how I’m using it and base on incomplete information offered his medication, never recommend him to anyone. If you go to him you’ll be on your own without any care or attention specially for start which is the most sensitive and painful part of this kind of treatments. And many other important part that he ignored or didn’t pay attention in order to offer the right treatment that I’ll include later. In short he don’t offer different options, don’t ask enough questions in order to give you the right treatment, once you pay he won’t care much, very uncomfortable atmosphere to talk whit 2 other person are in the room, and you will be on your own in time of need so keep your phone close if you had to call 911 !!!

It’s true that wait times can sometimes be long (although virtual visits have largely eliminated this problem). But I’m giving Dr. Alathari a “5” because he treated me for substance abuse WITHOUT BEING JUDGMENTAL. Previously I saw a psychiatrist who told me that my behavior was disgusting and that I was”no better than a junkie on the street.” Dr. Alathari, in contrast, treated my addiction as a medical problem, not a moral failing.

Very experienced and warm. I found him to be very knowledgeable and I trusted his judgment. I’ve been doing very well on the medications he recommended. I’ve been his patient for 12 years. Yes the wait can be long but I experience long waits at every doctors offices regardless of the specialty

Dr Alathari was entirely nonjudgemental during my period of substance abuse and he helped me to overcome it. I recommend him highly.

Caring and nonjudgemental.

I am very surprised at the negative reviews about this doctor. I have had a lot of experience with psychiatrists due to PTSD from over 7 combat deployments. I will absolutely attest that Dr. Alathari is knowledgeable, caring, and a very good psychiatrist. I think there may be issues with people confusing the role of a psychiatrist (medication management) and a psychologist (counseling). Proper treatment requires both. If people expect a psychiatrist to be a counselor or a psychologist to manage medications then they will be sadly disappointed. Dr. Alathari is a very good psychiatrist, which is why I recommended him to my wife for her treatment. I would not have done that if he was not good!

He's definitely helped me through difficult times. His office is very busy though, so even if you show up to your appointment there can be a long wait.

Very bad. Worst medical professional ever dealt with. Never go back. He books patients back to back, wait times are up to 1 hour. Doesn't know anything about progressive treatment methods. Very rusted unplesant doctor
