Hello! I just wanted to take a moment to acknowledge Dr. Dao. We found her years ago from a previous doctor's recommendation paired with a confirming Google search. We went to her with a toddler previously diagnosed with a strabismus. She continued a series of patching efforts, but nothing was working. She actively tried to avoid surgery, and vocalized that she wanted it to be a last resort. However, after quite a bit of time passed, we decided it was best to proceed with the surgery. It was completed on 6/8/2021, and we have been nothing short of pleased. The facility provided great care and information prior to, during and after the surgery. Dr. Doa did an amazing job of passing along information and making us feel genuine care. Not to mention, the surgery went off without a hitch! Her bedside manner has been unmatched. My husband and I feel like she is absolutely working fully in her calling. My 5 yo was never afraid, and was even eager to have the surgery and go back the day after for his post-op check up. I do believe her gentleness helped a ton with that! Overall, Dr. Dao is an amazing doctor, and I count our family quite blessed to have found her! My boy's eyes are straight, and we thank Dr. Doa for caring for him in such a magnificent way.

I cannot recommend Dr Dao highly enough! She was amazing with my 3 year old, very patient, and was able to keep his attention and get him to cooperate during exams. We never felt rushed, she took her time with us at every appointment. She performed my son’s strabismus surgery and personally called to check on him multiple times post-op. When I had questions or problems, she returned my call very quickly. We saw her for a year and have since moved out of state, but I wish we could have brought her with us!

Tried to set up an appt. she is 4 months out for the Springfield location and 5 months in woodbridge from the date of this post... she must really be in demand.

Doctor Dao saved my daughter's eye from getting treatment with a steroid and from wearing an eye glasses when I choose her for a second opinion. I highly recommend her for the safety of your child.

I just left this office for the first time and I was extremely happy. Dr. Dao was very nice and thorough with my 6 year old son and everyone in the office was extremely nice and helpful. Definitely our family’s new eye specialist.

Good with kids even when my daughter was losing it. Good feeling and vibe from her when you are nervous about your little one.
