Mehreen ZAHRA Husain's Online Review Report Card

I love Dr. Mehreen. Very caring with the patients. However, the front desk is out of control. I am not sure how that works. But, as other reviews noted, they never pick up phone, returns voicemail or any communication of that sort. This is utterly ridiculous that patient has to call repeatedly and not get any response. My wife needs refill and I am planning to go their in person today. Please value your patient’s time. Time is life and that is what you are treating.

Dr. Hussain is the best! Since I began seeing her earlier this year my diabetes has improved drastically. Something that Ive been trying to get in control for years, she's been able to help me do over a few months. When you speak, this Dr listens and that is what's important to me. She's very honest and direct but has a great sense of humor as well! Her nurse is always caring and helpful and the office staff are great as well.

I tried for over six months to get an appointment scheduled. I called repeatedly and left multiple voice mail messages. I finally had to have my Primary Care Physicians call them to get them to return my call and set up an appointment. To me, the not calling a patient back for initial inquiries, costs that patient time and endangers their health. Please be more proactive in contacting people who call to utilize your services!!!!

I've been referred to Dr. Husain by my PCP over 2 yrs ago and my relationship with her is great. She listens to my concerns, address them and tailors my treatment based upon my lifestyle and/or health goals. I chose to make a drastic health & lifestyle change this year and she's helping me be on track and control my diabetes better. Communication via app is the most convenient way, she or her staff responds within 24 hrs. I'm happy with my care, her nurse and receptionist for the endocrinology department are always courteous and kind.

I have been going to Dr. M. Husain for almost 1 year now. She has sent me out to several other specialist/doctors and has done a wealth of lab (blood) work within this time period. She is the definition of good.... with good being the enemy of great. I just can't put my finger on it, but my last visit a few weeks ago just may be my last visit. She and I speak well before beginning our medical update conversation; she tells me when I have made small but noteworthy gains, but, there is something about her that (in my opinion) separates her from amazing/stellar physicians. It could possibly be her inability to connect professionally. She has made some "colorful" comments to me, a mid-40 year old woman who holds 3 degrees and a good job, and it has left me sitting in my car after an appointment or 2... or 3, thinking, "did she really just say that to me?" Yea, that last visit was my LAST VISIT. She is a good doctor, but I just can't put my finger on her subpar doctor/patient connection.
