Nghi Huu Bui Md's Online Review Report Card

My adult daughter went to see him. She felt he didn’t take her concerns seriously. He is not a good listener, therefore not a good doctor. He tried to talk over her and rush through her visit but she wasn’t allowing him to bully her like that! He doesn’t follow up as well. Her first was her last visit! I taught her well. Know your rights as a patient! And advocate for yourself!

Dr. Bui couldn’t care less about his patients. He doesn’t respond in a timely matter to MyChart messages I send on behalf of my 91 year old father who has multiple health issues. They don’t answer the phone. Finally figured out I have to press 0 multiple times. Even after speaking with answering service Tuesday night (I sent a message that morning and it showed that it wasn’t read) and a desk person at 10:00 am Wednesday Dr Bui finally called me at 6:00 pm. By then my father was in the ER.

Aweful! he prescribed me medication that if not refilled it will cause withdrawals. They refused to refill my prescription without me scheduling an appointment and when I tried to reschedule they did not have anything open and the nurse wanted to spend time on the phone debating about a contract she felt I should have signed. I am so sick from the withdrawal. Please don't trust your health here.

Dr. Bui has been our family doctor for almost two years. He has a no nonsense straight up approach that I like. You are not going to be able to snow him. He listens and if he cannot fix it, he will direct you to where you need to be. I have recommended him to anyone who will listen. His nurses are also amazing. That whole office is a pleasant experience.

RUDE

Dr. Bui has been my primary doctor for only a short time now but everytime I’ve had to see him he is very thorough and takes the time to prescribe the correct treatment. He has also given me top notch referrals for specialists. The staff is professional and friendly. The waiting room is clean with plenty of comfortable to chairs and space.

I met Dr. Bui about 6 months ago for the first time. I went in for other issues but my blood pressure was very high that day. He addressed my original concern but shifted his focus to my BP. He followed evidence based practice according to the current guidelines. To reviewers who said he looks at the computer- he has 15 minutes to assess, diagnose, and chart. I am returning because he took appropriate action which, as a healthcare provider, I appreciated. My husband has been to him as well.

Will be the last time I see Dr Bui (if you can even call him that), he spent the whole time telling me there really is not much left to be done when my symptoms are getting worst. He spent the entire time looking at the computer and the best part is he gave me a referral to see a specialist when the specialist needs a scan/xray and I don't have one. As I said before that will be the last time I ever go there for "help".

Does not listen. I just had an appointment with him today, He spent most of my visit on the computer. He talked to me for 2 minutes and never looked at me.

Dr. Bui is extremely thorough in his assessment and very knowledgable. His bedside manner is 5 star quality which is hard to find these days. I would highly recommend him to anyone who wants the best care.
