Dr.Desai recently did surgery on my husband and I want to say thank God for giving my husband the best care and successful results. Dr. Desai is so easy and comfortable to talk to.Thank you Dr.Desai.

Although he is a good doctor, I fault his billing practices. I had an office procedure. Unfortunately, Desai/Sentara didn't submit the bill until after the United Healthcare deadline so UHC refused to pay. Potomac Urology should have written this bill off because of their error. Instead the bill (almost 7K) was subsequently referred to a collection agency and has obviously damaged my credit. Why am I responsible for their error? I'm sorry but I find this to be immoral and unprofessional behavior. You know better.

If there was less than one star I would give it , just callled because having a sever kidney pain and the lady in the phone was very mean very disrespectful and very uncaring and unprofessional I can tell that she’s in a bad morning mood and passing this negative energy tot he patients , she ignored my pain and said call the morning or wait for our respond to your online visit request (cause I submitted one ) I’m very mad and unsatisfied hope the doctors see my comment

Worst experience ever! I have been going to one of the doctors for almost 9 months now and I am yet to have kidney stone out of me. Every time I go there I have to wait about 20-30 mins just to hear get an x-ray done or get a CT scan done and come back in 2 weeks. Last time I visited(about a month ago), I got ultrasound and and doctor told me he will call me and he is yet to call me. He also told me to get some other test done but I am never going back ever again. It just seems that they are running a business rather than helping patients. Though, the nursing staff is very friends and helpful.

Dr Desai has been my urologist for 8 years. He diligently followed my symptoms and performed my surgery. He is knowledgeable, compassionate, and uses a team approach to ensure every question is answered and that there is no bias or avenue that is overlooked as you contemplate surgery or aftercare. He is a genuine, skilled, and caring physician.

Dr. Desai is a very personable individual who cares about the patient on a sincere level and takes the quality time to explain your option treatments and his various procedures. Voted by Washingtonian Magazine multiple times as one of the "Top One Hundred " doctors in the tri-state area. He personally saved my life and or quality of life on two seperate occassions and is a very talented and caring physician.

Dr. Desai is compassionate, attentive to your physical and emotional needs. He takes time to listen to you, advise you and is always available if you need him before and after a surgery to insure your questions and concerns are met. I have complete confidence and trust in him. I was diagnosed with prostate cancer several years ago and relied on him for advising me on what to do, He performed robotic surgery and continues to follow my care.
