Had one visit and in my opinion, he doesn't seem to have much interest in finding medications or suggestion to help my dry eye problem. He is rather cold and doesn't seem to have good doctor patient relationship.

Just happened to check on Dr. Young's past record. This is my second review. I noticed he only received a 2.8 when he practiced in Rutland, Vermont. Didn't check any further. It appears I am not the only patient who didn't approve of his attitude or his interest in helping us to get well.

I found it rather disappointing. I saw Dr. Young for dry eye. He recommended one medication for me, and it did not help. He more or less left me with the impression that it was all he could do for me. I didn't like his attitude nor his lack of interest in trying another med like Restasis, etc. He needs to work on doctor patient relations and making patients feel that he will help them either ...

I thought it was good. However, now I realize it was not a good experience. I saw him for dry eye which started after a Strabismus Repair. He confirmed that I had dry eye and gave me a prescriptions for Xidra which has not helped. After that, he told me I had dry eye and there was nothing else he could do for me. What kind of doctor exams you and sends you off with those words? He should have referred me to a specialist. He lists one of his areas of care is Dry Eye!! I am still having problem, but will now see a qualified surgeon as I feel that is what I needed in the first place. When looking at visit summary which I should have done immediately after my visit, I find that all they did was copy my medication from years ago and never inquired as to what I presently on. Two of the medications they listed were medications they have listed were wrong. I notice on his website that he does not allow any reviews which doesn't surprise me. In my opinion, he definitely is the worst!

Dr. Young saw my husband as an emergency referral when shingles developed close to his eye. Dr Young fit us in right away, and it was a good thing as the shingles did involve the eye. Dr.Young was sympathetic, thorough, and very clear in his explanation of what to expect and watch for. He has seen my husband weekly for follow-up. We are very impressed and grateful. What a nice guy and good doctor. On subsequent visits my husband was seen promptly, the staff is very gracious, and the office is clean and attractive.
