I could not have asked for a better surgeon for an emergency gallbladder removal. Dr. Lomas is attentive, caring and extremely knowledgeable. She answered all of my many questions, spoke with me after my surgery and came to see me the next morning. In summary, I would recommend her skills and professionalism to anyone seeking a wonderful surgeon.

I will be the first to admit I was apprehensive about having hernia surgery at Central Vermont, but make no mistake about it, this hospital has impressed me, starting with my Surgeon, Dr. Sarah Lomas. Dr. Lomas was very helpful in explaining the various ways in which she could perform the surgery. She provided me with all the details I needed to make a clear decision on my next steps. I found Dr. Lomas to be very caring, extremely informative, incredibly clear and very thorough.

I found Dr. Lomas to be very caring, extremely informative, incredibly clear and very thorough. The results have been great, with recovery time quick. You get the feeling with Dr. Lomas that she does things by the book, making sure that each step she takes is well thought out and is extremely precise. I have no problem in recommending Dr. Lomas to anyone that needs a general surgeon to operate on them. I also found the staff in the prep and recovery room to be outstanding, starting with RN Ben and RN Seandell. They both took excellent care of me and made me feel comfortable.
