H. Peter Diercksen Md's Online Review Report Card

My mother could have died because of Dr. Diercksen's incompetence and terrible attitude. When my mom lived in the Loretto Home assisted living facility in Rutland, Vermont, she had a stroke and the nurses were dismissive for three days, saying she had a headache and to "take some Tylenol and just lie down." It was a scattered stroke, so my mom maintained her ability to speak. Apparently, the nurses had never studied different kinds of strokes and stroke symptoms. When my mom finally asked to use the phone at reception, so she could call the police and ask them for a ride to emergency, Loretto Home got her an ambulance to the hospital. ?? IMMEDIATELY, the doctor in ER could tell my mom had had a stroke. The Rutland hospital had my mom transferred to a hospital in Dartmouth, where the surgeon removed "a ball of plaque the size of a golfball" (the surgeon's exact words), from her left carotid artery. This was in the SAME SPOT my mom had asked the regular doctor for Loretto Home, Dr. Hans Peter Diercksen, - a totally incompetent, ancient, bumbling, arrogant-as-hell country doctor and god knows how many old people in Rutland have died because of him -- to look at. She felt something there, she told him. He said it was nothing. For over a month she felt this bump in her neck and asked him about it. He kept dismissing it. She could have died because of his incompetence. And due to his arrogance and incompetence she had a stroke!!! which could have been prevented!!!!! ?? She could have had another stroke and died because of the NURSES' INCOMPETENCE AND ARROGANCE in Loretto Home and the way THEY DID NOTHING TO HELP HER WHEN SHE'D HAD A STROKE!!!!!!! She begged them, she talked to them many times, to anyone who would deign to pause and listen, over the course of three days, but they ALL treated her so dismissively, like she was some kind of stupid child.
