List of Kimberly P. Dauerman's Reviews
I've had two appointments so far. One was for an annual check-up, and one as for a Tachycardia problem. Dr. Dauerman listened to my concerns and fully addressed each and every one. I found her to be attentive and very competent. I had some blood labs done prior to the tachycardia visit and some values exceeded the norms. She explained the possible causes gave me some suggestions and order another round of tests. The second round came in normal. She even took the time to write me a hand written note, explaining the changes, because she knew I as concerned.
Dr. Kimberly P. Dauerman has on every visit shown intense interest in my case, following my indications with incisive, multiple questions. I can see how she was admitted to Yale, Harvard Medical School, and also highly relevantly, residency at Beth Israel. It became apparent that if not fully done with questions and advice she would extend the visit somewhat into the next time period. When expecting ...
I can't say enough positive things about Kim Dauerman. She takes a very collaborative approach to working with you. She spends time carefully listening to you and explaining matters. You never feel rushed during an appointment. She is also very responsive and timely following up with you regarding test results.
Nice doctor, but a "BIG HOWEVER", she prescribed a drug for me that carries a Black Box warning put out by the FDA (for tendon damage and peripheral neuropathy(Nerve Pain, dysfunction) - for potentially long-term, permanent side effects, many of which I got. By the time I realized what was going on--relating the pain and harmful side effects from this drug, the damage had already started and continued to get worse. After over one year, I'm still partially disabled from this drug... in the meantime I the doctor's appointments and physical therapy expenses continue and I'm not back to work yet! Can't understand why we pay doctors to give their professional advice, when we need to do our own research first on the medicines they prescribe! By the way, the pharmacist failed me on this one also. No verbal warning was given on the drug having a Black Box warning!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
