Dr. Rasmussen lacks empathy and does not practice in the best interest of her patients or their families. When our daughter was hospitalized last year after having multiple seizures in one day she discharged us after staying one night in the hospital without any direction or reassurance. When we called several days later because our daughter was having multiple seizures that would not stop she and she took over an hour to call back. We had taken our daughter to the emergency room at our local hospital because we couldn’t keep waiting for her to call. When she finally did call she was very cold and told us that she couldn’t advise us because we’d taken our daughter to the hospital, she’d have to speak with the physician. A diagnosis of epilepsy is a scary feeling for anyone and Dr. Rasmussen lacks the interpersonal skills and compassion to care for this population of patients.
