List of Mark Lazarovich Md's Reviews
He was brilliant, finding the root of a long-standing problem.
Mark Lazarovich is extremely rude, with no bedside manners. He is extremely overstated in his profession by any other doctor, and admitted so, stating that he is "Not a specialist." Worst doctor experience in years.
I had been struggling with hives when I was hot or stressed. He knew exactly what it was, didn't think I was making it up. We got the prescription dialed in and now I wonder why I hadn't gone to him sooner. Just a doctor, getting the job done. If that is what matters to you, he is your guy.
I saw him about a year ago ... It was one of the worst experiences I've ever had. Rude and condescending doesn't even cover it. Whoever is reading this, all I can say is please don't go to him unless you enjoy being made fun of and belittled. He actually laughed at me. Then the second time I went he refused to see me because I asked the nurse to test my temperature (for covid) on my wrist... It comes out the exact same and they know it. They made such a big deal out of it and this doctor came over to me and in front of the entire staff and patients began to yell at me. I said I am not refusing to take my temp, just asking if they can take it on my wrist instead of pointing it between my eyes. He left and refused to see me. They should fire him as they are loosing business because of him. The rudest doctor ever.!
Really bad experience - they had very bad patient relation skills. They did not treat me with respect or communicate well--treated me like an imbecile and I felt like someone in an interrogation room at times. They did not explain what they were going to do, did not seem to have my medical history despite a UVM Medical Center affiliation, let me wait without explanations, kept changing the plan of what they were going to do (three times), tested my back with 48 allergy punctures, after telling me first that they only wanted to treat me at two sites. I had to ask to see the doctor. He was arrogant, spent minimal time with me, and didn't respect my questions. No one gave me any report about my allergies. Their only advice was to take medication I was already taking. No other behavior changes or coping strategies were suggested.
My appointment with Dr. Lazarovich was one of the worst experiences I have ever had with a doctor. He was patronizing, rude, and abrasive. When I said that I hadn't received a letter in the mail with instructions for the visit, he refused to believe me. Another equally rude employee (nurse, assistant, not sure...) did a breathing test. When Dr. Lazarovich came in to review my results, he said "I couldn't beleive this was your test. This was much worse than I thought." Truthfully, I had never done this kind of test and I'm not confident that results were correct. Instead of going back and doing it again himself, he continued to inform me of my dire condition (never been diagnosed with asthma before) and said that, "There was probably no permanent damage." He then gave me prescriptions for 4 medications that he said I needed to start taking right away without giving me much of an overview on these medications. Needless to say, I am looking for a new allergist.
I had been a patient of Timberlane since the 1980's and although I had not been for about 12yrs because of insurance issues and I was taking care of my allergies, Dr Lazarovich didn't bother to review my previous records. He was the last Dr to see me but never read those records. He refused to provide allergy testing as I might be allergic to ingredients in the COVID vaccines. Instead stated, either I would have a reaction or I wouldn't! Very cavalier and dismissive of my concern. He even laughed when he said I should talk to him if I had a reaction to the vaccine, then went serious and said, we would really need to talk then. He had made his decision about not testing me before he talked to me. Said he would tell a 16yr old with my history not to have the vaccine but that I should (I'm 64yrs.) He did finally ask some other questions but even stated that my previous allergy tests probably had false/positives and my anaphylactic episodes were not anaphylaxis!
He was dismissive of my concerns. Refused to provide a test to ingredients in the COVID vaccines. Previous doctors have stated I can not have vaccines so I wanted to be tested. He stated I did not have anaphylaxis when I had numerous ER visits for anaphylaxis. I have been a patient of Timberlane since Dr Wright was there in the 1980's and was never treated so poorly. He even questioned the testing ...
We saw Dr Lazarovich. He was extremely rude. So was his staff. The nurse that took my weight and height didn't smile or ask how I was or anything. She wasn't friendly, at all. She seemed miserable to be there and miserable that she had to do her job. My wife was kicked out of the office because our child coughed once. Absolutely ridiculous. It wasn't like a, hey could you step out for a min. It was more of a, you need to leave right now. I would suggest going somewhere else for your allergy needs, or see literally any other Dr. He was the biggest jerk.
I saw Dr Lazarovich after 8 years of increasing problems and loss of quality of life due to what turned out to be atypical migraines. I had repeatedly seen my GP and several ENT’s at UVM Medical Center and was told there was nothing wrong with me. These atypical migraines manifest as chronic post-nasal drip, earaches, jaw pain, neck pain, sinus pain and feelings of having allergic reactions in my eyes. Dr Lazarovich allergy tested me and then told me I didn’t have allergies, I had migraines and I needed to see a neurologist. I’ve since done so, have been on Botox injections and Aimovig for the migraines and have my life back. No one else listened to me like he did. Thank you, Dr. Lazarovich!!!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
