Not great with kids
Coming from Mendon VT 2 hours away, We arrived 10 minutes late for our appointment due to traffic and the hospital's lousy parking. We were told we missed our 9am appointment by arriving 10 minutes late. The doctor himself is very over priced at 1200 dollars an hour, and he doesn't remember us at our visits. And previous to today's bad experience he has rushed through our appointments because he is running late...No empathy for hauling 2 kids under 8 years old 2 hours in the car to these appointments. We are switching to Dartmouth.

I brought my son to an appointment to be evaluated for a serious symptom, and he criticized my family, my son for not drinking enough water (he's autistic), and didn't order any tests and said my story of noticing my son's symptom was not believeable. When I said I would have to take my son to the emergency room if it happened again he criticized my parenting for wanting my son evaluated.
Dr Hollander was rude. He also made a wrong diagnosis a half hour after meeting my child.(her previous dr took 6 months to make a informed diagnosis,) he is also against homeschooling, told my daughter she should go to public school(none of his business or his choice) his bedside manner was rough and again the way he talked to my daughter was rude short and snotty. I usually do not write reviews but i really hope no one's child gets treated this way. I have filed a complaint. If there was a no star choice i would have given him zero starts.
Nevaeh was treated by Dr Hollander about5 yrs ago for 2 yrs. Always was there for us. An was 💯 in everything. Plus Nevaeh was very fond of him. He was like a kid magny an always a positive word an smile.
Dr. Hollander is a smart, caring doctor. My daughter is a patient of his. He is highly skilled in all aspects of his field. We trust him implicitly and value his opinion. Dealing with a chronic autoimmune disease is hard enough, without him it would be much worse. I can't thank him enough for listening, examining and running pertinent tests so my child can have the best outcome possible. He is one of the best!
We met Dr. Hollander when our 8 year old was being tested for lupus at another hospital. Shortly afterwards, he was admitted to CHKD with complications from surgery performed elsewhere. Dr. Hollander was very involved with all aspects of our son's care, and in the four months we spent in the hospital we were reassured every day of his level of commitment to our child's health, and to our education about his condition. He made a really hard time easier, and continues to provide excellent care.
My excellent with Dr.Hollander and staff was friendly and didn't have to wait long Dr.Hollander explains medical condition. he provided listen and answers question . My grandson trust, he said the Dr,was nice
Dr. Hollander is very kind and understanding. He answers questions both as a doctor and a father. He always put the patient and parent concerns first, and does his best to answer any questions.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
