Dr. Gilbert is the most compassionate doctor I’ve ever met and is informative and encouraging.

I have been seeing Dr. Gilbert for many years, I feel he is an excellent and very knowledgeable doctor, I was having problems getting my thyroid hormones leveled, someone suggested for me to make an appointment with Dr. Gilbert, within no time my levels were straighten out and I was feeling so much better. I would highly recommend him!

Dr Gilbert has been my family endocrinologist for a long time now. He is knowledgeable about my rare familial genetic disease and always is prepared for my appointments. I hope he never leaves. I trust him more than any other doctor and appreciate his kindness immensely. He treats me like a human being with a brain! He never makes me feel like a problem or a bother. He remembers important details I find others don't. I am very thankful for having him as my endocrinologist

Dr. Gilbert is an excellent endocrinologist and a great person. I wouldn’t change to a different endo if given an opportunity.

If you read this and are looking for a doctor, go somewhere else! This Dr over prescribed me to fix a problem. When I complained that I wasn't feeling well he shortened the time between doses. Complained again and he said it wasn't his issue. Contacted patient advocacy and they fought to get me to see a different doctor, who couldn't help me because Dr. Gilbert had already said my issues were not related to their work. They pawned me off on another doctor who condemned my primary care for putting me on this dose, till he found it was prescribed by a Dr at UVMMC. I left there with a pamphlet on intermittent fasting. I had to go out of state to see a new endocrinologist. He cut my dose in half and I have been feeling like my self again. I lost a year of my life feeling sick and hopeless due to this doctor, don't repeat my mistake.

Dr. Gilbert is a very caring , compassionate yet highly professional intelligent Doctor who really takes the time to listen to me and my concerns. He has treated me since 2009, in Feb. 2011 I lost my daughter to Juvenile Diabetes, I had an appointment with Dr. Gilbert in April when I told him he felt very sad and I really felt he could almost feel my pain, he was so sympathetic and compassionate. I can say he is the most knowledgeable Doctor in his field. I don't generally like to go to doctor's but seeing Dr. Gilbert is always a pleasant experience. I feel very confident in Dr. Gilbert as my Endrocrinologist. An added plus is his wonderful staff , always pleasant and never a wait time. I check in and by the time I go to take a seat the Nurse is calling my name. They all work together as a great team and all runs smoothly in the office.

I found dr Gilbert to be both helpful and compassionate. He ordered appropriate tests and asked questions and genuinely listened to my concerns and medical problems. He also made an important recommendation to get me to the next level with my health.

No real interest shown in patient care. Seems he can't wait to be done with the appointment.

do not go to this practice, the office staff and nurses have no knowledge of endocrinolgy. your experience will be a disaster...
