Absolutely, and without a shred of doubt, my favorite doctor I've had in my 44 years and 5 States and countless doctors. She listens, she remembers, she's so attentive and at the same time the sweetest and most caring. I'm disgusted that she doesn't have 5 stars!! I hope she never retires!! ❤️

I moved to Vermont from Chicago. In Chicago I had access to clinics which I felt both understood my experience as a transgender person and were respectful, transparent, and working in my best interest. That has not been my experience with Dr. Inker at CHCB. I first went in to see the Doctor in October. Due to my being prescribed testosterone for nearly 6 years (in Chicago)-- she said it would be no problem to get me set up with the prescription here in Vermont. Unfortunately, I went to the pharmacy twice asking for a prescription for which they had received no order. This is both embarrassing and potentially dangerous as I feel I am essentially outing myself to both the pharmacists and anyone within earshot of the pharmacy line just to walk away empty handed. I was open with Dr. Inker about my anxiety surrounding doctors and the medical industry in general. She was aware that I was nervous before and during our appointment. She verbally assuaged my anxieties assuring me I was in good hands. My partner encouraged me to reach out again in January as I had not heard anything from the nurses or the Doctor in the time that had lapsed. I mean except for bills of course. I was billed for services, even though I had never received the treatment I sought (my medication). I finally received the prescription in February. Again, after multiple phone calls and leaving messages with both receptionists and nurses, outing myself over and over again as I inquire about my missing medication. The pharmacy had attempted contact with Inker's office multiple times in order to bridge communication with the insurance who had refused to pay. I had to call Inker again in order to encourage her to do so. When I FINALLY received my medication four months after my initial appointment I discovered I only had two injections worth (only two weeks of my prescription). She also had directed her nurse to have me come in for blood work after I'd been back on the T for a month. BUT SHE ONLY GAVE ME TWO WEEKS WORTH OF THE MEDS. In the past I was given a three month prescription at a time. Something doesn't seem to be adding up. I am not sure if the incompetency simply lies in the lack of communication or an apathetic view of a steady stream of patients looking to one of the only routes to access this care. But I can say this experience has further cemented my distrust of doctors, of the medical industrial complex, and more or less discouraged me from seeking help I need for issues unrelated to HRT. It has led to me reconsidering my ability to live in Vermont safely and happily. Overall an absolutely terrible experience. However, one of (?) Dr Inker's nurses was extremely compassionate with me on a phone during one of my many calls in January when I was still seeking answers to why my prescription had never been called in. Otherwise, the experience generally has been cold and frustrating.

One of the best advocates and doctors I have ever had. Literally one of my most favorite people. Quirky, interested, and comes across as though she absolutely loves her work. Invested in my care and who I am as a person. All the gold stars. ALL OF THEM.

Dr Inker has been my physician of choice for MTF transgender care. She is very thorough and systematic in her approach and I have absolute confidence in her judgement in treating me, prescribing and monitoring my hormone therapy and guiding me through my transition. Dr Inker is a highly valued resource for anyone who is transitioning.

Completely disagree with the other review on here. Cannot say enough about how wonderful Dr. Inker has been. VERY warm, genuine, and caring. And has gone above and beyond all expectations. This is an amazing doctor.

She did some things that I consider to be very damaging to my body and to my life in abuse of her power. It was not medical or legal and despite overt instruction as to both of these important subjects, found that she was abjectly insistent that her way was correct despite any medical logic, information, legality or other voice of opinion. She insisted that I use damaging medications that harmed my system badly. It seems a common strain to prescribe me damaging medications at CHC Riverside. The conceit and condescension from her was too much to bear. I don't believe she should be dealt with until you must for some reason, like she is the only Doctor dealing with gender identity issues. Perhaps she will stop you from doing that by going and fighting against you at the board? She has done this kind of thing in the past, it seems.

She is ice cold, Napoleanic and aggressive. I dealt with her extensively and my opinion is that she will lie and abuse her power, the trust you give her and that she will cause damage to you. Maybe if there is no other trans-gender Doctor and there is absolutely no one else you can deal with her but she could be removed for her incompetence and malpractice, eventually.
