I saw Dr. Rabinowitz for counseling. I ordinarily don't leave negative reviews, but I have to say that I found him to be very dismissive and unhelpful. I was surprised when he introduced his own mental and emotional state into our conversations. I would discourage anyone who finds themselves in a vulnerable state to seek care from this doctor.

Has anyone had an alarming response to the amount of forcefulness, the manipulative language and phrasing, and the outright lack of listening that terry rabinowitz exhibits with patients? I have serious concerns about doctor rabinowitz.

He's difficult to get to see. He seems to always be booked up.But he more than makes up for it by having email priviledges for patients he has difficulty gettting to see. He provides practical and terrific advice. He's caring, down-to-earth and helpful.He's unlike anyone else I've ever been to because he listens and actually advises you to do things that you can do. He's NOT a pill-pusher
