List of Timothy J. Fries's Reviews
Dr Fries performed a tilt table test on my son and claimed it was fine. The cutoff for it being a fail is an increase of 30 beats per minute. My son hit a change of 51 beats per minute. The neurologist we saw the next day educated us thankfully and prescribed some medicine to actually help my son feel better.
Arrogant. Has a temper. Yelled at me
Dr. Fries was arrogant and was very difficult about consulting with a sub-specialist that my regular neurologist had suggested. After the consult, Dr. Fries was about to perform a procedure on me that, because of another condition which was clearly noted in my chart, could have had serious negative effects on my health. He sent his resident to tell me about that near catastrophe. Later, he did show up to apologize.
I saw this physician this week and I found him to be very knowledgable and compassionate. The staff was very friendly and my appointment was on time. The review that was on this site was totally unfair and inaccurate!
I was called on a friday to confirm a monday appointment. Then I was called on Sunday to confirm again and to change my time to an hour earlier. Both times, I volunteered to re-schedule due to a snow event, but the office assured me all was fine. 7:30am on Monday morning, the office called to tell me that since the Dr only had 2 appointments it wasn't worth his time to see me. I let this Dr. know by e-mail that I didn't believe this was good and made sure to e-mail a couple of his superior associates of this office scheduling in the hope they could work together to not let anyone else feel so abused when feeling anxious about their medical care. Needless to say, he got right back to me by e-mail and offered to see me at a later date but didn't take any responsibility and I'm just not very comfortable with this. I'm sure, he may be a very good Dr. but they need to have a better communication system.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
