List of David Schwartz's Reviews
Dr. Schwartz is by far the best specialist/doctor I've ever had. It's very rare these days to have doctors who truly care *immensely* about your well-being. I've moved several times since first seeing him, and never once came across another doctor who I've trusted more. He wants you to be as healthy as you can be and will listen to all of your concerns/fears without judgement. Great human, even better doctor. Agreed below with the mannerisms from the front desk staff - but thankfully they aren't the ones treating my disease.
He performed a colonoscopy in 2016 and 2021. The procedure, risks, and results were explained very well. It was reassuring to get important feedback.
This man's casual dismissal of my debilitating problems (later diagnosed and well-managed by a talented gastroenterologist in Boston) cost me years. In addition to his clinical incompetence and abject indifference, he filled up the time of the supposed "medical" appointment forcing irrelevant, passive-aggressive small talk with thinly-veiled insults about my school choice, career interests, etc. At the time, I was young and he must've not had many other patients my age, because he was only too eager to put down a practical child who he knew would be too polite and timid to call him out on his conduct. Truly a sad individual. Seek care with the experts in Boston - or, at minimum, with anyone else.
They say you never fully appreciate someone until after they have gone. This is true. My current pcp has been after me about getting a colonoscopy. I’m 62. Last time I had one done was about a year before Dr. Schwartz left the Attleboro area. He is definitely one of a kind. Wish he was still here.
Dr. Schwartz is the gold standard. The best.
Dr Schwartz is tremendously skilled which makes it easy to have a colonoscopy without any medication. His bedside manner makes it easy to forget why you are there and what is happening.
It was one of the worst medical experiences I have had in my life and due to many complicating conditions and referrals I have had many. I would not recommend this Doctor.
Dr. Schwartz performed my colonoscopy and I cannot recommend him highly enough. I have a history of Crohn's disease and had a lot to discuss with him before the procedure. He was very attentive, asked several questions and understood the issues that were of concern to me. The procedure went smoothly with minimal discomfort. He was kind and professional throughout. I also appreciated the printed information they gave me upon discharge, which explained the findings in detail.
I had an amazing experience with Dr. David Schwartz. He is well informed in GI medicine and is such a compassionate person. My GI symptoms have worsened over the years affecting my quality of life. Dr Schwartz spent time listening and offering a treatment that has improved my situation greatly. He has a collaborative approach acknowledging my concerns and offering solutions. He is both professional and friendly. I highly recommend Dr Schwartz and I am so grateful to have him on my team.
Dr schwartz was informative, caring, congenial and professional. I have recommended him to friends and family.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
