Linda Zamvil's Online Review Report Card

I regret ever meeting Dr. Zamvil. Rude, arrogant, reckless with her patients lives. Very long story short, she left me suicidal after "treatment" which left me only the option of having electric convulsive therapy (shock therapy). I moved to the area stable on antidepressants. I saw her only to continue my current treatment. She diagnosed me bipolar simply by my completing a short questionnaire. I stupidly trusted and she changed my medications gradually taking me off antidepressants which led me on a year and a half nightmare of mood instability, debilitating depression and suicidal thoughts. I ended up having 11 ECT treatments which left me feeling like I was losing my mind and with memory problems. I wouldn't send my worst enemy to "Dr" Zamvil.

I feel horrible after meeting with Dr Zamvil. She doesn’t take the time to get to know me as an individual and she knows nothing about my life. She is very demanding judgmental and critical and rushes right through appointments and doesn’t give me enough time to explain my life and as an individual to her. Definitely the worst health care professional of all time and I don’t recommend anyone to go see her.

I left Dr. Zamvil’s office feeling horrible about myself, after a session of being judged and criticized by a stranger who knew nothing about my life, and didn’t seem to try to actually get to know me as an individual. The most horrible experience I’ve ever had with a healthcare professional.

Had her for 4 years before she moved to Vermont...she's an excellent doctor and there is no one else like her wish she would come back to Advocates, INC. She would reply to my emails around 2-3 in the morning, she's an excellent doctor.

Dr. Linda Zamvil has been my Dr./Psychiatrist for quite a few years, and has been the one Dr. who has delved deep enough to understand the issues that I contend with. She is very knowledgable, and treats children as well as adults with respect and kindness. She doeen't take up more of life's valuable time than she needs to.. She's to the point, explains what and why and is very giid about returning my phone calls. Her staff (Michelle and Heidi) are excellent to deal with and are very helpful with appointments, occasional needed schedule changes, and making sure Dr. Zamvil gets a message when the occasion arises. Child or afult, I highly recommend this Dr. And office to decipher, diagnose, and treat any mental health issues you may have. Thank You.

Horrible experience. She was harsh, rude and seemed focused on giving out military-like commands and typing on her computer.

She knows her profession.i have referred many friends and family to her.

After making the difficult decision to move to Vermont, I felt sure we wouldn't ever find another doctor like the one we were leaving due to our move. Dr. Zamvil has by far exceeded our hope beyond hope in ALL ways and the difference she has made within our family is indescribable..... Literally. She cares about us, listens to our observatuins and HEARS us.... Something that hasn't been a common occurance for us.She has been soo good about offering literature on different topics and doesn't mind answering questions. Diagnosis' has been 100 percent correct in our opinion, and of second opinion doctors also. We carry a heavy load with special needs and she has NEVER hesitated. We feel very, very BLESSED to be on her professional schedule when scheduled, but also whenever we have needed her in between..... Thank You so very much to our exceptional doctor..... Written with most sincerre honesty....

Dr ZamvilWas cold & heartless, showed her true color's.No help from her at all. She did offer an appointment 8 to 9 days from the date I spoke to her.She is one doctor to stay a way from if you can help it; I not be going back ever. This is my view of Dr Zamvil
