Dr Alex, I miss you. Wish you were back in Oswego. It is that time again. I suggested my son drive me to Va for procedure. I am once again so very anxious. I think of you often as physician and neighbor. Stay Safe.

Dr Sokolovsky took my gall bladder out. I would recommend his to anyone. I have Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease and I was very worried about being put under general Anesthesia. Dr Sokolovsky informed me that having a Laparoscopic Hernia Repair Under Local Anesthesia was not possible, which I came to find out is a patent lie. He also had trouble inserting a catheter and I believe it caused me peyronies injury. He never informed me that a catheter was going to be used.The unguinal repair also failed within days. I can only speculate that this lie and omission was because the fee is so much higher with catherization and anesthesia. Highly not recommended.

Dr. Aleks did his best to do surgery around my schedule. Every aspect was explained to me before doing my hernia repair.

Didn't listen well. Didn't communicate with me well. Took a week to call me back. His staff told me "He doesn't have time to make phone calls to patients." Made assumption after assumption. Didn't believe me when I told him the condition took on a whole new meaning just a couple weeks prior... told me that it was resulting from previous surgery scar tissue... My surgery was 4 years ago! Now I'm coming to him with something NEW! "How about I go in and clip the nerve ending so you don't feel it anymore and your inside leg is numb?" Ahhh... NO! How about you go in a fix it? "Not much I can do for you. That is a very difficult surgery." Well, I guess I will go find someone who can!
