List of Robert Areson's Reviews
I am a new patient of Dr Areson’s and in my very first visit I found him incredibly competent, knowledgeable and prepared. He had done a thorough review of my health history and spoke knowledgeably to each health issue, past and present. I found him very proactive and helpful in working with me on getting up to date with my vaccines, as well as informing me about test results, and in connecting me to specialists. I am also impressed with the team at Richmond Family Medicine, as they are easy to work with, especially suggesting solutions when there are roadblocks.
He is a fine doctor as long as you don't have anything that conflicts with his own personal beliefs. He leaned in close to my face and looked me straight in the eyes and said, "just so you know, there is no such thing as Chronic Lyme Disease". So, my Western Blot test that came back, recognized by the CDC and my doctor I see every month for treatment is wrong?? I know that my symptoms got better as I received treatment from the Lyme literate doctor, so how can one fight with that? I am still searching for a new PCP. I need a doctor that will work with my specialists. He is closed minded and he will see in a few years that it's REAL and he is wrong.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
